Has the gospel been preached in all Anglo-Saxon towns?

Is British Israelitism still alive? How did a dispiriting disunity synergistic people manage to escape from the control of there overlords. They were there to work to generate income and not Togo on an extensive trip into other lands. How did this motley crew organise so they could navigate...

The NT manuscripts are full of mistakes

More than one commentator has suggested that we have so many n t quotes in the church fathers letters that we could almost reconstruction the n t from them. How true that is ? A basic check on biblical accuracy, look at the footnotes or use biblegateway to compare translations. They both...

Was the Flood a worldwide catastrophe or just a local flood?

The current theory is that water dissolved in rock under great pressure was suddenly released, hence the fountains of the deep. Really a flood up to 400 yards deep, that exists for over a year will wipe out an unprepared population.

    Will this work?

Yes we should walk with the Lord, yes our final destination is safe, but glory in ourselves! What have we got to be proud of? Everything is from and of God and we are but as Luke 17 says ' So you also, when you have done everything you were told to do, should say, ‘We are unworthy servants; we...

Why didn't god give every soul as much time as it needed to become good? Why send so many to hell?

How do you know that God hasn't given every person as much Information, enough experience and enough time to consider God's offer of salvation? How do you know that after all this they still reject God?

What affect is there on The Fall and The Atonement, if Adam was not the first human?

That may well be true, but one does not understand an ancient text by what it's words mean today, but by what they meant to the authors example Not to long ago ' gay ' meant happy now it means something else equally ' nice ' had a meaning of precise, now it means acceptable.

Reasonable Response To Christ - Justified By Works

Yes we all constantly sin. Who can love the Lord their God with ever part of themselves constantly, failure to do this is sin. But good works do not cancel out sin, only Jesus can do that. As 1john1:9 says he will forgive us our sins.

Reasonable Response To Christ - Justified By Works

As James says show me your faith, I by my works show I have faith.

Reasonable Response To Christ - Justified By Works

We are not justified by works. Ephesians 2: For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— 9 not by works, so that no one can boast. 10 For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in...

Now you have two forms of knowledge: that you know and that Christ knows you (torn?)

People gain knowledge through education etc, but people also loose knowledge through it not being taught. You can see this happening today, because Christianity is not taught people have a declining knowledge of Christianity. Answers in genesis has an interesting article on lostcroman knowledge...

What affect is there on The Fall and The Atonement, if Adam was not the first human?

I was very tempted to write about old knowledge that is still valid, but 2nd thoughts realised I would be rude. However I will remark that ancient biblical la gauges do not change there meanings when read 90 years ago or read today. Do you have evidence that shows that the meanings of words...

Where do you place your confidence?

I Don know much about you guys, but I suspect that you are very like myself and trust in one's own intelligence, physical strength and the fact that one has insurance and cash in the bank, It takes something that is outside my control or ability to make me turn, usually in tears to God for...

Now you have two forms of knowledge: that you know and that Christ knows you (torn?)

What do you mean by this? Please substantiate your claim that " originally people knew about someone destroyed by sin ". Could you also explain what you mean by it?

What affect is there on The Fall and The Atonement, if Adam was not the first human?

Day like yom gets its meaning from the context. So the use of evening and morning and the use of numbering the days can only mean that the author meant readers to understand that ' yom ' meant a 24 hour day. If God did not create in 6 days and if the earth is more than 6 k years it follows...

What affect is there on The Fall and The Atonement, if Adam was not the first human?

Look up Prof Robert dick Wilson and see what he wrote back in the 1930s about language in the O T. As the foremost expert on every language found in the bible and in the middle East his conclusion after a life time of studying the languages used in the Middle East and in the bible is that the...
