    When was the A.O.D fulfilled?

If you do not mind, I would like to offer a new interpretation that is placed in my recent commentary on the Book of Daniel and it departs from any of "today's accepted interpretations." However, in a very recent response (page 49) IndianaRob had made such an interpretation!! 1) the...

    Romans 11:25 - Partially blinded

Okay, I understand..... If you do not mind, please let me share my two cents on this... not that it is right, but it is what I believe.. Would you say that when Babylon conquered Israel in 606 BC, it was the "time of the Gentiles?" Personally, I would not. This was the time after Soloman...

    Romans 11:25 - Partially blinded

Well, when Jesus was baptized in the Jordan and anointed by His Father, He received His Holy Spirit, His righteousness, within Him. When He took on the sin of the world, do you believe He had to give up "that Spirit" that was given to Him by His Father. It had to return to His Father since sin...

    Romans 11:25 - Partially blinded

I agree. Jesus certainly fulfilled all 6 elements of His God given mission revealed in 9:24. He brought in righteousness, put an end to sin by those who would accept Him and at His second coming, He will not remember their sins. Consequently, just as He came to "set up" His kingdom, our sins are...

    Romans 11:25 - Partially blinded

Hope you do not mind, but I have literally no idea what that means, along with pre-trib, post-trib, pre-med (:dusted:)or the other hundreds of terms created to place folks in little boxes (and no two people within the same box believe the same thing). I apologize but I do not try to learn of...

    Romans 11:25 - Partially blinded

Thanks for considering my comments. I believe that ALL will die once (with of course those who are in Christ at His return and are brought up into the air after the dead in Christ are raised). But at that time, God will once again place His Spirit, His Holiness, His righteousness into those who...

    When was the A.O.D fulfilled?

Thanks so much, and I have also read their commentaries... and these guys are indeed heavy hitters..

    Romans 11:25 - Partially blinded

Thank you for your kind words. Would you mind letting me know more of your thoughts regarding the "time of the Gentiles?" Thanks.

    When was the A.O.D fulfilled?

Ok and thanks. This is a fourth interpretation that we can discuss.

    Romans 11:25 - Partially blinded

Yes I have, and that is a great point and I am sure you will read about it in the commentary. This ties way back to the creation of Adam in Genesis 2:7..... 9:24f-Bring in everlasting righteousness Daniel had recorded the three types of sin in 9:24: c, d, and e. Man has been guilty of these...

    When was the A.O.D fulfilled?

Ok, I was hoping there might be a few more different interpretations.... there are certainly a few out there I believe. Unless I am not seeing them all, at least the top few interpretations, there maybe 3 to consider? 1) futurist view that predicts the war of all wars kind of thing... coming of...

    Romans 11:25 - Partially blinded

I understand and appreciate your comments... The only response to that is that Mary and others went to the tomb on the day after the Sabbath and brought burial ointments and perfumes, etc. Jesus did tell them He would rise on the 3rd day and He did say the Father and He were One and the same...

    Romans 11:25 - Partially blinded

Nice comments! Hope you do not mind… I made an earlier comment that I would like to hear your thoughts on (assuming I may have missed it). I believe no one, perhaps with the exception of one of the thrives on the cross (which has its own special purpose), could recognize Jesus as their...

    When was the A.O.D fulfilled?

I do not believe that I have replied to any of the 49 pages of responses / comments on this topic. If I may, can anyone first tell me their interpretation of just what is the "AOD?" I am sure there are more than one or two major interpretations - perhaps some preterist and many futurist... thanks.

The six things of Daniel 9:24

Thank you for your response! I believe the "daily" sacrifice only points to one event and that is when each day at 9 AM and 3 PM, the same time the Messiah was placed on the cross and the time of His death. Jesus fulfilled this sacrifice and offering found in Leviticus.

    Romans 11:25 - Partially blinded

That is a terrific question… I really never thought of it this way before. Perhaps both. The Jews who accepted Jesus accepted the New Covenant. It was and is a better Covenant. But the Jews that rejected Jesus had to continue with the old Covenant given to them on Mt. Sinai. But just as the...

    Romans 11:25 - Partially blinded

I wish I had your understanding of the Scriptures where you can connect this Word to that Word … In studying Daniel, there are so many verses that point both back to other OT passages as well as to many NT verses. Only God could weave such a masterpiece! Please keep showing me these relationships.

    Romans 11:25 - Partially blinded

Well, they have been keeping God’s laws, commandments and Levitical ceremonies and practices for 1500 years. And when reading the time after the cross, is was quite difficult for them to understand what was “done away” with and what may be kept. Now many Christians today contend the “law” (the...
