The Prophetic Timeline: Why Jesuit Futurists/Jesuit Preterists Ignore It

I asked you for your interpretations not some clue... if you don't know, that is not a problem...99.99% of folks have no clue..... they might think they are some EU group or whatever, but they have no idea.... so, what are your interpretaions?

Well then, we clarified that. Now, who are the 10 toes, the 10 horns and the 10 kings?

    Daniel Chapter 2

Thanks Jay, and I do agree, although Daniel is not an easy book to interpret... and if one attempts to interpret it as it relates to our history books, I can assure you their interpretations are quite flawed. God did not write this book just to recount our historical events... Whether it is in...

    Daniel Chapter 2

Jay, if you do not mind, I am having trouble understanding why some folks have interpreted much of Daniel to speak of the times after the cross period. Certainly, Daniel covers or mentions that destruction of the Temple and the city in 70 AD, but that is it --- he mentions it as one of the...

The Prophetic Timeline: Why Jesuit Futurists/Jesuit Preterists Ignore It

For the moment, let's leave out the "saints of the Most High" because that is a study in and of itself that demands its own discussion. Please address the rest of the comments in what I had mentioned - the 10 toes, the 10 horns, the 10 kings... the progression of these symbols through the 4th...

    Daniel Chapter 2

Okay, again, we are all entitled to our interpretations… The Lord is great.

The six things of Daniel 9:24

Zoa, I know we do not agree on the 4th beast kingdom, but have you ever considered that it was the Messiah as the Passover Lamb of God, the perfect sacrifice was the One who done away with the daily sacerifice and offerings? After the cross, there was no further need for animal sacrifices...

    Daniel Chapter 2

Ok, I got it.... and I agree with you. Unless we both agree that the 4 kingdoms in Chapter 2, whatever they may be, continue throughout the remaining chapters, there is no reason to discuss our interpretations. But that is exactly why I proposed to begin at Chapter 2... no problem at all... thanks.

The six things of Daniel 9:24

I understand but there is also a reason why the Jews reject Jesus and expect His first coming in the future. It would take so long to go into Chapter 11... but Chapter 11 is also written for His people and His city.... but I AGREE WITH YOU THAT 99.99% of our interpretations follow your thoughts...

    Daniel Chapter 2

Thanks for the detailed interpretations! If you do not mind, can we do two things? One, go back to Chapter 2 and let me know if you believe that the 4 kingdoms in Chapter 2 remain the same 4 throughout the Book of Daniel. Secondly, can we discuss the 4th kingdom in Chapter 2 only without using...

The six things of Daniel 9:24

Daniel is such a very difficult book to interpret. And if you look at "today's accepted interpretations," they all apply a "historical" approach to deteremine their interpretations. Meaning, they confirm, compare and attempt to identify those actors and events that actually took place within our...

The six things of Daniel 9:24

I agree. The four verses in 9:24-27 might be thought of as being given as the first two (24-25) represent the "restorative" verses within this prophecy. But in 26-27, Gabriel gives us the "destructive" verses. The "restorative" verses reveals the timing of those elements that will be...

    Daniel Chapter 2

I don't believe I have read this interpretation before.... but I certainly can understand how you arrived at it. I do believe that most interpreters believe that Rome is the 4th kingdom, and ALL (except me of course), claims that the four generals that come after Alexander represent the four...

The six things of Daniel 9:24

Thank you for your interpretation. I have seen others that also share your interpretation..... so you are certainly not alone! I, however, am sitting alone but I feel comfortable with a little different interpretation. Please consider the following - it is a relatively short piece cut out from...

    Daniel Chapter 2

Thanks. I have a new interpretation for you to think about. Verse 2:34 is when the Stone (Messiah) arrives - His first coming and so rules the feet of the image and He breaks apart the iron and the clay into pieces. He does not come to destroy but to divide. The symbolism is that the iron, as...
