    My personal eclectic view

In my view the, 'abomination of desolation' is not defined by the Christian majority as being the abandonment of the Gospel, ie a faulty view of the character of God. Christianity at large pedals a God who requires appeasing rather than a God who would rather die than kill.

Mamdani win is regressive for NYC and unfavorable

hmmmmm, definitely the case. What to do? I wonder if recognising and aiding the contribution refugees are able to make would shift things?

Every branch that bears fruit is pruned. - John 15

By seeing Jesus. By hearing his words. By taking note of the words of his apostles who are his witnesses. God's whole objective is to seek and save the lost. It vindicates his character and has the whole intelligent Universe acknowledging this his Glory.

Garfield the cat rescued from train tracks

We rescue the animals....even while we eat certain ones.....and yet when it comes to compassion for folk from other lands who reach out for help, they are tarred with blame and despised.

Every branch that bears fruit is pruned. - John 15

The objective of 'pruning' is to bring about the same heart and attitude that God has towards the oppressed and afflicted.

Every branch that bears fruit is pruned. - John 15

What does pruning look like? In the story of the sheep and the goats it appears that the attitude and behaviour toward the poor and marginalised reveal who has been 'pruned' and who hasn't.

Mamdani win is regressive for NYC and unfavorable

Would you spend your savings and risk your life on grossly overload boats to reach a shore in hope of a better way of living? What I'm asking is, how bad does it have to be for a person to do this?

Mamdani win is regressive for NYC and unfavorable

Does the oppression in one country give justification to another to close its borders to refugees? It appears by the consensus of many and alarmingly those claiming to be Evangelical Christians, marginalising and outing the downtrodden is a badge of National fidelity.

Is it ok for parents to use corporal punishment to discipline their children?

Violence is the very fruit of sin. Violence against yourself, violence against others including the superimposing of violence onto God as if it were part of his character.

Is it ok for parents to use corporal punishment to discipline their children?

It is a given that sin has in it the seeds of its own destruction. Taking this into consideration shifts how one understands the prophetic utterances of destruction. Ignoring it has man superimposing his own fallen character onto God. Judas is an example of destruction. It was done by his own...

Is it ok for parents to use corporal punishment to discipline their children?

This is all in your imagination Wrangler......and frankly, you can't see it any other way because to do so would not support your paradigm. The new wine would burst the old wineskins ie, an electrical short would blow the main fuse. I think the Pharisees experienced this when Jesus rose from the...

I wonder if thalidomide children wonder why God made them without or crippled limbs?
