If you think Mary remained a virgin till she died, then bet on it

How did Mary get at least 7 kids without sleeping with a man... Matthew 13:55-56 Is not this the carpenter's son? is not his mother called Mary? and his brethren, James, and Joses, and Simon, and Judas? And his sisters, are they not all with us?

Romans 11 and the real Replacement Theology

I could be wrong about Paul here, I don't think I am... while Paul waited for them at Athens his [autós] spirit was stirred in him. But here I know I'm not wrong... Stephen calling upon God and saying Lord Jesus receive my [egṓ] spirit. As far as the list with no references: The list is too...

Romans 11 and the real Replacement Theology

Jesus was not always saying something that would apply to you because many times he was speaking about what concerns Israel and not the Christian administration we are now in. We will always be in darkness and confusion regarding the truth of God’s Word if we do not understand the different...

Did Jesus raise hiself from the dead or did God yhe father raise him

I gave you the Greek word and it does not mean power. It's authority and that's the way the word has been used for many years. Even today we may say a person has the power of attorney. It means it's a legal document you create that gives someone else legal authority to act on your behalf. It...

Did Jesus raise hiself from the dead or did God yhe father raise him

Here's 20 other Bibles on John 10:18... New International Version No one takes it from me, but I lay it down of my own accord. I have authority to lay it down and authority to take it up again. This command I received from my Father.” New Living Translation No one can take my life from me. I...

Did Jesus raise hiself from the dead or did God yhe father raise him

The Young's Analytical Concordance says the Greek work is "exousia" and it means Privilege or Authority.

Romans 11 and the real Replacement Theology

I like the NIV on this verse... 2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here! We are taught "to be in the spirit" means to walk upright in our flesh or to have our flesh in fellowship with God. So we read right over the many...

Did Jesus raise hiself from the dead or did God yhe father raise him

The verse you just quoted means he had the authority to give up his life and he also had the authority to not give up his life. In other words God did not force him to do it which makes perfect sense because he had to do this on his own having free will.

Romans 11 and the real Replacement Theology

Here's a list of how spirit is used in Acts. Tell me which one means the spirit of humans... Acts ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost ye shall receive power after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you they were all filled with the Holy Ghost I will pour out in those days of my Spirit...

Did Jesus raise hiself from the dead or did God yhe father raise him

I just saw this on page 233... It's funny how Christians try to use Philippians 2 as proof of the Trinity... They have no clue that by quoting it.... They deny their own Doctrine!!! Now to the second phrase in Philippians 2 that causes a difficulty. It is the one that says Jesus Christ "did...

The Didache on the coming of the world-deceiver: What 1st and 2nd century saints were taught

I hope all are not like you who cannot understand if we do not watch to whom it is addressed... then we will take for an example the 7th chapter of the book of Romans and think Paul is writing about Christians when he is writing about those still in the flesh or still a Jew or still a Gentile.

Did Jesus raise hiself from the dead or did God yhe father raise him

There's a very high percentage that you have had the same teachers as I have. Except for this "Adam wanted to be like God as Genesis 3:5 teaches. Adam tried to grasp at equality with God." Would you be so kind to tell me more about Adam. I'm mostly interested in what he ate that was bad since we...

If you think Mary remained a virgin till she died, then bet on it

I must have missed something in your conclusion. How is it that they were not in a normal marriage? How did her giving birth to Jesus make their marriage not normal?

The Didache on the coming of the world-deceiver: What 1st and 2nd century saints were taught

Men use these words in the context of who was a Jew or who was a Gentile. God does not use these words for there is neither Jew or Gentile in Christ. And it's God who put the Bible together and if we don't understand how He uses words then we will not be able to know who He is talking to. Thus...

The Didache on the coming of the world-deceiver: What 1st and 2nd century saints were taught

I have mentioned this a number of times that I'm looking at this from God's eyes and if that does not mean spiritually than I don't know what spiritually is. And you are looking at this through your old image which means not spiritually. And I think there's our difference.

Geezzzz... if you would have said that in the beginning I would have agreed.

The Didache on the coming of the world-deceiver: What 1st and 2nd century saints were taught

I have given you a lot of data and Scripture on this subject but you cannot see it. Either you are blind to it or probably just looking at it from your own image. Looking at it from God's image there's not such thing as Jews or Gentiles once you are born again. There are all one in Christ.
