    The Messiah

Faith is not merely a divergence. I ask to be excused from this discussion - I find the conclusions reached, hard to contextualize. Sorry.

Scripture says "in His Name, the Gentiles will trust" - what will 'Evolutionist Gentiles' trust in Jesus?

The world trusts its own strength, but there is a sense in which permitting lesser Evolution to recontend, even if it fails to begin with, makes Evolution stronger over all. I call it "giving a second wind, to Evolution that didn't previously make it". This is the point of play, in the young -...

Scripture says "in His Name, the Gentiles will trust" - what will 'Evolutionist Gentiles' trust in Jesus?

I think the parallel concept to "Resurrection" in Evolution, might be "Recoupment" - the idea that if your Evolution does not work, you may need to regather strength, to be ready to try again.

Growing in Spiritual Maturity - Being, not doing

No, it is a transition to something "new" altogether. Or rather, a transition back to work, in a way that seems "new". Faith is the CONTINUING of the "inspiration part" in a different context (one more suited to the work).

Will There Be A (Pre-Trib Rapture) As Many Claim?

I quoted from memory - what's wrong with that? Where in the Bible does it say "you must quote word for word"? Communication, as if I type anything other than words? All I am saying is that people wait for the Message to be revealed. People waited for Jesus, they will wait for the Holy Spirit...

Scripture says "in His Name, the Gentiles will trust" - what will 'Evolutionist Gentiles' trust in Jesus?

What happens when it is as the Lord said of the believers "the Day is coming when you will look for the Son of Man, and will not find Him"? Will Evolutionists not find Darwin?

God is "God", by faith (considering?)

Hi there, So I think one of the things that confuses a lot of people, in this life, is the idea that they are ruled by a "God" that asserts Himself, to the exclusion of everyone else. This could not be further from the truth. The reality is, that God applies a standard, to everyone, including...

Will There Be A (Pre-Trib Rapture) As Many Claim?

I don't know why you are fighting me? I did quote scripture, as you later quoted yourself. The fact is that until faith is revealed, everyone waits where they can. Does that mean that they are condemned? No!

Will There Be A (Pre-Trib Rapture) As Many Claim?

Doesn't the Bible talk about great figures of the faith, waiting for the Day of Jesus? Where were they? In limbo? Or in faith? If they were in faith, why do you object where that faith was? If they were in limbo, wouldn't they be the same as everyone who has dwelt on the Earth at some time...

Growing in Spiritual Maturity - Being, not doing

I suppose you would say "it's likely that they will assume, that Christians are somewhere (on the basis of atheism)" The point is, that faith inspires work, and work justifies meaning - if atheists consistently were inspired to do good works, I imagine a new kind of creed would develop within...

Will There Be A (Pre-Trib Rapture) As Many Claim?

What do you mean "after death"? In Heaven you can be redeemed, that is, you and your works can be redeemed together (hence the scripture in Revelation, that our works will follow after us) I'm not sure avoiding doctrines is the right way to go about studying scripture - it would make more sense...

In the beginning, the messenger and the message were One.

Hi there, So, just to throw in a hard ball, there is a way to envisage the beginning, that makes sense of what we now come to believe is the "moment" (the moment we are in). It's not so much a claim about Heaven on its own or Earth on its own (as they are in Genesis), as it is a claim about...

Will There Be A (Pre-Trib Rapture) As Many Claim?

Technically you can be redeemed, in Heaven or on Earth. The problem is missing the Redemption altogether, as the World does.

Suffering unites awareness (around an important focus), but suffering with tolerance, unites the heart with God (selah)

Hi there, So this is not so much a look at what we suffer, so much as what that suffering becomes, when we work with it. On its own, suffering has a utility, that should not be ignored: it makes us "aware". If we didn't suffer, we would never have awareness of what is causing the suffering and...

Many today doubt that God exists, what convinces you that He does?

As Martin Luther King said "Faith is taking the first step, when you don't see the whole staircase".

    Perks of aging

This was a bitter pill to swallow, but it made so much sense! Keep on ageing! It's the best way to reveal God's Grace!

It slowly dawns on Mankind, that the flesh profits nothing, and more than that: the place (in Heaven) for the flesh cannot retain it (expectations?)

Hi there, So I write these things, as much for my own clarity, as anything else. This time, I am addressing the expectations that Mankind has of the Lord. What are these expectations? Well, they are basically that the flesh of Mankind keep living. In other words, not only do men not want to...

Many today doubt that God exists, what convinces you that He does?

How would this even begin to make sense, unless there really was a "God"? I think for me, faith is a journey, I'm already on my way - as Peter said "Where else would we go?"

Make of it what you will

Art that has no respect, is a very meagre art (selah)
