Hi there,
So I think one of the things that confuses a lot of people, in this life, is the idea that they are ruled by a "God" that asserts Himself, to the exclusion of everyone else. This could not be further from the truth. The reality is, that God applies a standard, to everyone, including Himself. This standard is the standard of "faith". As Jesus said "everyone will be tested and every effort will be tried", again, that includes God.
But how? By following Jesus' example; who said "You will see Me seated at the Right Hand of the Power, in Heaven". Notice that He did not say "at the Right Hand of God"; this is telling because the faith of God is established, not in fact, but in faith and when that faith has been tested, then God can take His place on His Throne. Ask the Holy Spirit! Is God on His Thone? This is a very simple fact: the faith must be tested.
Tested why? Because without testing, it is not complete; without trying different efforts, nothing is strong. There is a saving Grace in this, because if God can establish Himself on His Throne by faith, then all thing can be established by faith (even things that don't seem to have a sense of faith about them). And who can establish himself on God's Throne, but God? Therefore He will make an end, even of that. Don't fret, God says in the OT "I will not always strive with Man", those people in your life that question your faith, won't make it through the faith test - the memory of them will be all but gone. You should expect the memory of such people, to fade!
So can we help God? That is the main question! Surely it will be as in the days of Moses, when those with him held up his hands, to secure the battle in the valley below. When Moses had strength, the army had strength, but when Moses was weak, the army was weak. Therefore helping Moses be strong, makes God within Moses strong. This is an important point, it won't be for everyone to help God, but to those it is appointed for, it will be a great honour. In part, this also proves that the faith is trustworthy, and that by faith. So in the process of establishing God by faith, the faith is established as well. This is miraculous!
The impact of the presence of God cannot be understated, as Jesus says, "I will be coming with the Clouds of Heaven" every little aspect of the faith, will be revealed in the Clouds, that none may doubt. This includes God's rise, to His Throne. It will be a moment in time, like no other. Faith itself, will be changed. Not as we become ignorant, but that we become stronger in faith, as we had known the faith, than ever before.
I hope that this has been of some encouragement.
God bless.
