    Hebrews 4:12.

The spirit is the motivating factor in every human being, just as it was in the living creatures that are spoken of in the book of Ezekiel (Ezekiel 1:12, 20).

    Repentance necessary for salvation.

When we sin, we sin with our whole selves and not just with our flesh (the old man). We are not obligated to obey the flesh (Romans 8:12-13, Jude 1:24, 2 Peter 1:10, 1 John 2:10); and therefore sin is not inevitable in the believer. In fact, the doctrine of the inevitability of sin is a false...

The Myth of saying that Jesus Christ died for all men without exception !

I don't understand what you are saying...how am I supposed to explain?

Tares Reveal Themselves by what they DON’T Say...And They Are With us Here .How to Identify Them...

That is 1 Timothy 2:13... "If we deny Him, He also will deny us." the context in 1 Timothy 1:12. I did not level those charges against you before you leveled them against me. But when I did level them against you, they did indeed hold water. Yes, he is. 1) "sinless perfection" is a...

    Tong's teaching on Romans 11.

First of all, the kjv is not a bad translation. Secondly, the NET is a bad translation. I believe that it is that very translation that gives Jehovah's Witnesses an out from a very clear-cut verse that speaks of the Deity of Christ (Acts of the Apostles 20:28) by translating it slightly...

WE ARE NOT SAVED BY WORKS...WHAT DOES THAT MEAN?

Except that the principles of the moral law are written on the hearts and minds of New Covenant believers (Hebrews 8:8-10; Hebrews 10:16, Romans 8:7, Romans 8:4, 1 John 5:3, 2 John 1:6, Romans 13:8-10, Galatians 5:14; Romans 5:5;...Romans 7:6).

    Once Saved Always Saved

The thing is, that the people who purport this PERVERTED gospel, do accuse the true gospel of being FALSE and PERVERTED... So, the devil is very much introducing confusion into the fray... And claiming that his false and perverted, new denomination is true Christianity while true Christianity...

"He who practices righteousness is righteous" (1 John 3:7)

To both of these I say, ***wishful thinking*** The point I would make about this is that there are those who believe that they are true Christians, and eternally secure, who do not have a living and saving faith in Jesus Christ. So, the question is, how can we address their situation so that...

"He who practices righteousness is righteous" (1 John 3:7)

Because the verses that teach my doctrine say nothing of your doctrine, you reject them as being, what? unscriptural? Ok, that settles that, then.

The Myth of saying that Jesus Christ died for all men without exception !

If only those who currently believe are Christ's sheep, and Jesus only died for His sheep, then Jesus did not die for those who currently don't believe. Therefore those who currently don't believe are not of the elect; and they cannot be saved because Jesus didn't die for them. And therefore...

"He who practices righteousness is righteous" (1 John 3:7)

Just what are you referring to?
  12. J

    Hebrews 4:12.

Also, man is a spirit, he has a soul, and he dwells in a body (see 1 Thessalonians 5:23).
  13. J

    Hebrews 4:12.

The soul is the combination of the spirit and the body; the spirit being the aspect of man's personality that motivates him to do whatever it is that he will do.

    Hebrews 4:12.

Now, in the last two posts, the false teaching begins. As @BARNEY BRIGHT is a Jehovah's Witness and @Base12 always has his outrageous doctrines that he tries to purport by bringing in what is falsely called science (1 Timothy 6:20).

    Repentance necessary for salvation.

Now you need to know that I am not stupid. It is very clear in 1 John 1:10 that if I say that I have not (ever) sinned, I make God a liar and His word isn't in me. This is different from saying that I have been abiding in Christ consistently for the majority of the recent past. The Bible is...

The Myth of saying that Jesus Christ died for all men without exception !

I'm not sure how your question applies to my statement.

"He who practices righteousness is righteous" (1 John 3:7)

I find that my experience is that it is just as if sin were eradicated from me; however scripture tells me that this is not the case but that rather it is rendered dead within me if I am sanctified wholly. Either one would have the same effect...that I desire not to sin in my life. It really...

    Repentance necessary for salvation.

I'm not sure that I have committed any sins in my most recent past. But I will say that I don't commit sin at any time in my life when I am abiding in Christ (1 John 3:6). If I said NO; and then committed a sin five minutes from now, it would make my answer into a lie. Since I cannot foresee...

"He who practices righteousness is righteous" (1 John 3:7)

I was addressing your reference to enduring to the end in your post. I personally believe that if someone has a heart faith that is unto righteousness (Romans 10:10) and enduring to the end (Matthew 10:22, Hebrews 3:6, Hebrews 3:14), that it is because they have been sealed by the Holy Spirit...
