The body of Christ. I'm welcomed wherever the body gathers. I haven't been a "church member" anywhere in over a decade . There's no point to it unless you're in a cult.

So, your claiming my statement as your own, good, owning your sin is the first step toward salvation. If we say that we have not sinned, we make Him a liar, and His word is not in us. 1 John 1:10

Read your own post and read the post you replied to, your lies are obvious to anyone not blinded by sin.

I belong to the body of Christ, whose head is the Lord Himself, not some pretender, and the Lord is the true and faithful witness. Anyone with access to the news knows what to expect from priests and Popes. Look to South America for the latest scandal. A church under a curse certainly isn't...

I quoted you when I replied to your post. The quote shows the world your quality and reveals who you are, the offspring of your father, the source of all lies. If you can't see your own lie, you are the most pitiable of all creatures. Since the head of your body is rotten how could the body be...

The post I responded too contained the misquote and distortion. Everyone who reads my original post with your response has now got your number. Stop telling lies. Seems to be the thing to do in your church.

You're another liar so I won't respond to any more questions. You've proven your lineage by misquoting me and distorting the truth. I'll pray for you, perhaps the Lord will show mercy.

I'd say it slowly if we were talking. The church didn't exist until after the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Where were all these faithful disciples when Jesus was arrested, tried, and crucified? If that's your idea of a church, I'm well pleased not to belong to yours.

The church didn't exist yet prior to Christ's resurrection. Is your chicken your dinner while its still walking on two feet? We don't move backwards through time (though God could) so a backwards reasoning hermeneutic isn't valid. Besides, nothing tells us that the 70 remained disciples of...

Can there be obedience where there is a lack of trust?

Stores in the NY metro area that have Jewish clientele usually bag dairy separate from meat. "Strain out a gnat and swallow a camel."

Can there be obedience where there is a lack of trust?

Not really. Gideon heard the word of God and tested Him. In the testing he learned to trust Him. This was pretty much true of Moses who looked first at himself and his inadequacies, yet he obeyed and learned that he could trust God. Obedience is driven by either fear or love, and the fear of the...

Can there be obedience where there is a lack of trust?

What if the legs were sawed through by 99%? Trust is a learned experience. If your parents dropped you frequently as a child would you trust them to pick you up? People equate trust with faith, but in reality trust follows faith and must be learned.

The word "saints" in the Old testament and in the new refers to Holy ones, those that are set apart by God to His purposes. The NT epistles address all genuine believers, all those receiving the seal of God's Spirit, as saints (and they are all set apart by God according to His purpose), but not...

Can there be obedience where there is a lack of trust?

No. Jesus' own brothers initially rejected Him and the same people who cried out Hosanas to Him, cried out crucify Him in front of Pilate. He remains an object of hatred by the majority of the world's population. Trust is a learned behavior, but faith comes by hearing the word of God. Gideon is...

They couldn't be the church, because the church didn't exist until after the resurrection. Its like theology 101. If you read the Old Testament, you'll find examples of other saints that also were empowered by the Holy Spirit to do wonders and signs. That doesn't make them part of what...

You keep quoting Luke 10:16 which has nothing to do with the church. The church didn't even exist prior to the resurrection of Jesus Christ. Stop pretending and stop telling lies.

nonsense, bad hermeneutics, and wild fantasy. "And this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent." John 17:3 Stop telling lies.

So if I'm apostate from an apostate church, then I'm an apostate squared. You can keep your idols of wood, stone, and metal. Praise the Lord, at least I know Him.

I'm a Catholic, confirmed at St. Martin of Tours church in Bethpage, Long Island, NY, back around 1969. That's okay nobody expects you to know what you're talking about. Just say 3 hail marys and an our father and call it a day.
