Do We Still Have A Sin Nature...

None of your above post applies to me because I'm not in the flesh which is what Romans 7 is talking about. Men and how they toy with their flesh. I am in the spirit. In Christ. In him. It's the next chapter. Romans 8:1-2 There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus...

Do We Still Have A Sin Nature...

I'm just a little confused by reading "the spirit of God, as He God explained from Him by the" who? Is the Spirit of God a person? Then there's "that He is the Christ." He who? God or Christ?

Do We Still Have A Sin Nature...

I believe the King James has this Galatians 2:20 translated correctly when it says "... I live by the faith of the Son..." You have it "... I live by the faith in the Son..."

    Data On The Trinity

I'm ignored on another site often and they respond with a lot of mocking that my post are too long. So I said can we talk about what I post and not mock me personally. The same stuff that I post here. They deleted the post called Data on the Trinity that had 4 thousand views because I asked that...

    Data On The Trinity

This is good stuff. I never heard it put that way

Do We Still Have A Sin Nature...

It's the "in him" that nobody seems to understand. What I write is for those who are in Christ. You cannot understand my writings if you are walking by the flesh. Romans 8:1-2 There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the...

Do We Still Have A Sin Nature...

I do not believe we have a sin nature. Every single person I know has told me about Romans 7 when I tell them I do not believe Paul taught about a "sin nature" for the Christian. What Paul talks about in the seventh chapter of Romans is what occurs to the believer who still thinks the Law...

Do We Still Have A Sin Nature...

I don't think you can sin if you are in him. It's the "in him" that nobody seems to understand. Note the words "in him" from Romans 8:1-2 There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. For the law of the Spirit of...

    Data On The Trinity

    Now this is well written.

Do We Still Have A Sin Nature...

Let's see if we can figure out why you cannot understand what I write. And I'm pretty sure I can get the answer if you can answer just one little itty bitty question. And that question is... do you believe Jesus is God?

Here's some data on John 10:33

The pronouns in the Bible that refer to “God” are singular and there are lots of them. “The Hebrew Bible and the New Testament contain well over twenty thousand pronouns and verbs describing the One God” (Anthony Buzzard and Charles Hunting, The Doctrine of the Trinity: Christianity’s...

Do We Still Have A Sin Nature...

It seems clear to me now that I have a new nature which is the spirit of God. And that I am not in a battle between two natures nor do I need to get God to teach my spirit to teach my flesh. This spirit is indeed a life form that is in all Christians even though most have no idea what it is or...

    Data On The Trinity

Do you have a verse that says one cannot be without the other 2?

Here's some data on John 10:33

Jesus never taught the Trinity even when he had good opportunities to do so, and we see this when Jesus met the Samaritan woman at the well (John 4:1-42) and told her he was the Messiah, but nothing more. Jesus did not take the opportunity to teach the Trinity when he asked the Apostles who they...

Do We Still Have A Sin Nature...

So you disagree with my OP?

Do We Still Have A Sin Nature...

I see it this way... Victory in the Christian life is as simple as renewing our minds to who we are and what we have already received in Christ. It’s not the struggle of two natures inside of us. We will continue to struggle with sin if we see ourselves as old sinners saved by grace. And so it's...

Here's some data on John 10:33

John 8:58 does not say Jesus is God. He was saying I'm the one now or I'm the one that counts now.

Do We Still Have A Sin Nature...

Romans 7:5 For when we were in the flesh, the motions of sins, which were by the law, did work in our members to bring forth fruit unto death. Romans 8:9 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you...

Do We Still Have A Sin Nature...

I see this 1 John chapter 1 and 2 as we are either walking in our old dead nature if we are into sin. Or we are walking in the spirit if we are not into sin. Chapter 1 6 "If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth:" 6. Not in him because we...

Here's some data on John 10:33

Good Stuff. Here's a bit about the holy spirit... We have no evidence in the Bible that “the Holy Spirit” was ever used as a name because no one ever used it in a direct address. Many people spoke or prayed directly to God, starting out by saying “O Yahweh” (translated as “O LORD” in almost all...
