Here's some data on John 10:33

How about if you start with just one verse and I will see if I can talk about it. I am limited in this area since my field is in the New Testament because the old covenant is no longer in existence.

Is all of the Bible written to us

That's the whole point here. That we are now in a New Testament. The old covenant is gone.
  3. Peterlag

Is all of the Bible written to us

Again, we are not talking about written for, but written to.

Yeah we are not on the same page.

Is all of the Bible written to us

There's 2 thousand years of religious confusion on that one question you ask. I wrote a whole book trying to address that topic and could write 5 more trying to unravel what mostly the Catholics introduced into Christianity.

Is all of the Bible written to us

Yes you picked up on "us" because that was the question. Is the Bible (all of it) written (addressed) to the Christian? I did not ask if the Bible was written to all men.

Is all of the Bible written to us

Did I not say that? That it was written for our learning but was not addressed to us.

Is all of the Bible written to us

I do find it interesting that I could talk to 5 people in one day about the same verse and all 5 people will give me 5 different interpretations of the same verse and all swear they got it from the holy spirit.

Here's some data on John 10:33

I see Jesus first being born from a woman named Mary. What you believe is something completely different that history tells us came from the Catholics and not from Scripture.

Here's some data on John 10:33

We are looking for the "glory" of God, which is stated clearly as being "Jesus Christ." The glory will come at the appearing, but Scripture says clearly that both the glory of the Son and the glory of the Father will appear (Luke9:26). It has been stated that the grammar of Titus 2:13 forces the...

Here's some data on John 10:33

The "I am" is the one who is here now. The messiah, the Christ that you need to believe in. Not the God man.

Here's some data on John 10:33

Paul also used the same phrase of himself when he said that he wished all men were as "I am" (Acts 26:29). Thus, we conclude that saying "I am" did not make Paul God. "I am" does not identify Jesus with God, but it does draw attention to him in the strongest possible terms. "I am the one... the...

Here's some data on John 10:33

Okay I can respond to all your verses. Lets start with the first one which (Titus 2:13) is that the Apostle Paul did not call Jesus "the great God". My Bible says "the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ."

Is all of the Bible written to us

I do not know why we have so many Christians who believe the entire Bible is written directly to them, the Church of God. There is nothing in the Bible to indicate such thinking, and I would like to add nothing could be further from the truth. It's true the Word of God was written for everyone...

What is mistaken is how you look at Scripture. Let's just do one verse at a time. You get to pick which one you want me to answer first.

Here's some data on John 10:33

The Bible teaches there is one God, the Father, and one Messiah and Lord, Jesus Christ, who is the divinely conceived Son of God. Jesus Christ is the fully human “Son of God” and not “God the Son.” For clarity’s sake, it's helpful to understand what the Trinity is. The orthodox doctrine of the...

Here's some data on John 10:33

Something that is openly admitted by theologians that is not known by many Christians is that the doctrine of the Trinity is not stated in the Bible, but is actually “built” by piecing together statements that are said to support it. Since most Christians believe the Trinity is a mystery and not...

Where are you on this... The Bible teaches there is one God, the Father, and one Messiah and Lord, Jesus Christ, who is the divinely conceived Son of God. Here's some data on John 10:33

Romans 5:15 says “For if many died through one man’s trespass, much more have the grace of God and the free gift by the grace of that one man Jesus Christ abounded for many.” Some theologians teach that only God could pay for the sins of mankind, but the Bible specifically says that a man must...
