The point of that story is to show that the feast begins and the marriage consumated before the groom goes to his fathers house to prepare a place for her.. This is exactly what happens at the Table of the Lord, and to this union all men are invited. Pax!

One cannot separate Christ from His Church . the Groom and his bride are one! "For this reason a man shall leave (his) father and (his) mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh." This is a great mystery, but I speak in reference to Christ and the church. Pax!
