Isaiah chapter 13, the scariest passage in scripture.

You may well be correct about these things though I'm inclined to believe that the 3rd eye bozos are intentionally trying to manipulate geopolitics to produce this outcome as it favors their plan to bring order out of chaos. The problem with the interpretation is a simple one: The Medes (Kurds)...

Isaiah chapter 13, the scariest passage in scripture.

I've read through the book of Isaiah many times, some before I was "saved" and many times since. I've always loved the book as it says so much about our savior and even of the gospel in ways that are readily and plainly understood. This morning while continuing my progressive reading through...

Sola Scriptura - does this foundation make you a heretic

I believe that we are instructed to always be ready to have an answer for the hope within us (a reason for our faith.)

ju Just the ones who practice it.

Sola Scriptura - does this foundation make you a heretic

Jesus rebuked the scribes and Pharisees saying that they searched scripture believing that in them they would find eternal life, but that they testified of Him. The real purpose of scripture is to show us who God is in the person of His Son. Some would say its a love letter to humanity. I think...

Sola Scriptura - does this foundation make you a heretic

The carnal mind can not receive the things of the Spirit.

If all of the Church is the Bride of Christ who are the guests?

It's easy to destroy and tear down, quite a bit more difficult to create or build up. Our speech is supposed to be wholesome and edifying, but who can tame their tongue? It took me a while to figure out, but its frequently best to step back and think about what someone has said or posted to...

If all of the Church is the Bride of Christ who are the guests?

Just wanted to add that some folks get saved while reading scripture for the first time as God is present everywhere (omnipresent) and is able to give a person faith to believe without "saying a prayer of salvation." Yet, he has called us to confess Him as Lord before men and to be a part of His...

If all of the Church is the Bride of Christ who are the guests?

Thanks, I understand what you're saying. I just tend to assume with some people that their thinking is carnal or their statements abusive because of spiritual immaturity. I was as guilty of being judgmental as the next person when I was young. It takes time to change the way a person thinks...

If all of the Church is the Bride of Christ who are the guests?

BTW, you've mistranslated the name Michael. Oh yes, nearly forgot, the principality of God's chosen people would be a chief one.

If all of the Church is the Bride of Christ who are the guests?

I don't want to be dogmatic about it, but I believe that the world is divided into nations or territories (principalities) governed by angelic beings such as the prince of persia. Who else would be in charge of a principality in the heavenly realms but a prince? I hope this helps.

If all of the Church is the Bride of Christ who are the guests?

Who we know is far more important than what we know when it comes to salvation. However, Christ prayed for His Apostles and for us when He asked the Father to sanctify us by His word (John 17:17). When the Lord gives us His Spirit to quicken our own with new life, we still have the mind of the...

If all of the Church is the Bride of Christ who are the guests?

I think that the Lord's teaching is practical with regard to our lives. I preached (rather poorly) in a few nursing homes about a decade ago, preaching through the gospel according to Matthew. I often found that the Pastor in my church or teachers on the radio were making the same points in...

am a muslim and i want to accept the christain faith

I like your zeal, but salvation requires such words to be given in faith which is the gift of God. They didn't work for me as a child as I doubted that God only required belief rather than some work to prove it. God bless you and I hope that you enjoy the discussions.

am a muslim and i want to accept the christain faith

Hello dear, Jesus said, "for I have come to set a man against his father, a daughter against her mother, and a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law, and a man's enemies will be those of his own household." Matthew 10:35-36 The entire passage (Matthew 10:34-39) is about the cost of being...

    Whose lying?

Not entirely true. The name has been used in sorcery, but spells and incantations, pentagrams and circles, were only recorded with "tetragrammaton" as the covenant name. Sorcerers going back millenia have believed that they can only command a spirit by knowing its name, but no one commands God...

    Whose lying?

Some people say that name is understood to refer to what you are. God's names, rendered in scripture, are all descriptive. If I ask an hispanic named Jesus, or a guy named Joshua to save me, they might try, but there's only one Lord and His names reveal Him. My own name is a proclamation of awe...

If all of the Church is the Bride of Christ who are the guests?

If you understood all of scripture, you probably wouldn't want to read it again, but God the Holy Spirit fellowships with us when we read His word. He spends time with us teaching us, showing us our Lord in the pages of scripture and instructing us in righteousness. I can never understand when a...
