    CATHOLIC BASHING THREAD TITLES

Hi Scott, Speaking of the 7 churches... Have you noticed Smyrna? Polycarp was the bishop of Smyrna, and in his letter to the Phillipians he said: Both you and Ignatius wrote to me, that if any one went [from this] into Syria, he should carry your letter with him; which request I will attend...

    We LOVE the CATHOLICS!

You bring up a good point here. Often disagreements arise because we dont use the same words or expressions in the same way, or understand something different than the thought being expressed. This happens especially in written communication... And we must all take care that we arent arguing...

    The Death of Lazarus

No , i never have asked myself that question... Never even thought of the question... Probably because the answer seems so obvious to me... John loved Jesus, without reservation, with his whole heart and followed him everwhere.. His love for Jesus was so great, that he overcame his fear, and...

    We LOVE the CATHOLICS!

I answered him in the same spirit as his opening post. We both made clear how we see the state of catholics and protestants, and did so without animosity. That there is a divide between us obvious, but that soes not prevent us from speaking to each other respectfully, and yes, in love. That you...

    We LOVE the CATHOLICS!

Hello! You are not wrong. I am Catholic. Each of us have different gifts that God uses to build up the Body in different ways.. One prays, another exhorts, one does works of charity , another teaches, one suffers another rejoices, one weeps, another comforts one has Faith to move mountains...

Does the Lord Come to Do Work in the Flesh or in a Spiritual Body in the last days?

I agree that there are differences between a corruptible natural body and an incorruptiful glorified spiritual body.. But they both have flesh.. You can touch Jesus! It is not just our spirit that is ressurected, but our whole person! That includes our body, made incorruptible, for we shall be...

The Names of God in song

Wouldnt play for me ... Rats lol The old saying is true... The one who sings prays twice :) Sing Alleluia!

Is this out of your reasoning?

Indeed . and in this world of constant noise and stimulation... How many never take the time to sit quietly and wait for the whisper of the Spirit? Peace!

    We LOVE the CATHOLICS!

I would agree that there has been a departure between those who follow men, and those who follow the Spirit. For the Spirit calls us to build up the peace and unity of the Body, bearing with one another in love.... And those who followed men have continued to fracture into many different...

    The Death of Lazarus

The literal and obvious interpretation is that Jesus is ensuring His mother will be taken care of.... As any righteous son would do! Did you ask a question about the beloved disciple? I must have missed it... Peace!

Protestants and Catholics in Agreement on This...

Its not the letter of the Law, but the Spirit of the Law that matters... Love God! Love one another! Peace!

    The Death of Lazarus

I see no reason to read that as other than a title of respect, much as we might say 'madam' or 'ma'am'. And yes ive called my mother 'ma'am'. Further, Mary would have been pushing 50.. Would you call that 'comparatively young?' Peace!
