Are we saved by certainty, or by faith? - the mystery of salvation

God's M.O. has never altered. His attitude towards all his creation throughout eternity is one of unending care and kindness.

Are we saved by certainty, or by faith? - the mystery of salvation

As an example, our Sun can only be seen at a distance.....and even that with great difficulty when looking directly at it. God's Glory is his self sacrificing love; its brightness a consuming fire.

Are we saved by certainty, or by faith? - the mystery of salvation

The Good News is a past and present continuous reality which is held in our earthen vessels by believing it......till the physical reality becomes our experience at the second coming.....when mortality puts on immortality and this corruptible puts on incorruption. This has been the great hope...

Are we saved by certainty, or by faith? - the mystery of salvation

I would say Salvation came SteVen before the foundation of the World. I wonder what 'Salvation before the foundation of the World means'? Are we saved by certainty, or by faith? - the mystery of salvation

Are we saved by certainty, or by faith? - the mystery of salvation We are saved by Jesus. Why gravitate to the subjective and make it the primary criteria? ie certainty or faith Faith is the hand which grasps the certainty of Salvation but Salvation is there even before we are born.

Let me ask this, is Jesus a tool to get what we want, ie, being born again, or is Jesus the main event? I would say that being 'transformed by the renewing of ones mind' is seeing Jesus as the main event and believing it, and being born again is the fruit of seeing this.

    Is The Chosen biblically accurate?

We can pull the history of Jesus apart as clinically and sterile as one might pull the anatomy of a hand apart to discover its parts but totally miss the loving caress it is capable of. The Story of Jesus is one of Salvation with a capital S. It is about God's emotional and compassionate ties...

    Is The Chosen biblically accurate?

Perhaps you could point out to us all your faults and errors instead of those of others?

I read Calvins institutes 45 odd years ago. I don't remember all the details, and frankly it is not that important to me. My passion is to see Jesus, not Calvin or Luther or any of the reformers for that matter, interesting though they are. They were men for their time. All the barking about...
