    WWJD with LGBTQ?

Israel was invaded by the Romans; they had become so odious to them that they went ballistic. It wasn't God who judged them, their undoing was themselves. God weeps for his recalcitrant children.....his 'wrath' is allowing them to reap the consequences of their sustained choices.... even as he...

    Arguing

Even God allowed and tolerated disagreement. Lucifer being a case in point. One could say, 'lets see how your position works out' It ultimately throws a spanner into how predestination is understood by many.

    WWJD with LGBTQ?

I think this was a part of Jesus' non resistance. He never forced, either physically, emotionally or psychologically because that's how God is. He allows us to make our choices and those choices have consequences, either for life or for death.....even when he is in the firing line.

    WWJD with LGBTQ?

An interesting way of seeing it.

    WWJD with LGBTQ?

I think God's long suffering is longggggggggg, ie it never ends. Jesus revealed this. If ever there was a time for God's long suffering to be revealed as having a shelf life surely it must have been when Jesus was tortured and murdered for being that which no other man had ever been.....or...

ANY EVANGELICAL, BAPTIST, NON-DENOMINATIONAL, REFORMED OR METHODIST HERE?

Drinking yer own tea and coffee, bringing yer own biscuits and cleaning up after the remainder of yesterdays biscuits in the loo is not too much to ask of God fearing folk I'm sure.

Where does the Pope get his authority?

I'm flat out untwisting the twisting conclusions folk draw from reading the untwisted scriptures.....although I must admit, some of what I read is alarming.

    Lonely.

Yes I've been bitten by the odd spider but I don't see it bite. I realise it after the fact so I don't know what type of spider it was. I get around in the jungle barefooted and will pick up leaches on my body at times. I usually notice it after they've taken what they want and then drop off...

    Lonely.

We have Butcher Birds (like a raven) who will swoop in and take them from time to time. We also have Sunbirds, a small yellow and light brown finely structured bird. It builds a most interesting elongated nest with a little 'peak' just above the entrance. They often build their nests close to...

    Lonely.

It's a wild Torres Strait Island pigeon. He/she came to me one day at the beach and was quite happy to get a ride in the car back to my place. It would come and go.....and as you can see, was quiet friendly. One day I was at the beach and some indigenous folk had a small camp. I saw lots of...

    Lonely.

They come and go. I just leave them be. I don't bother them, they don't bother me....in fact, it's a real privilege to see the wild life doing its stuff. A couple of weeks ago I watched a Golden Orb spider climb out of its skin leaving the old one hanging in the web. It took about ten to...

    Lonely.

yep, all the above and more .....wild pigs, brilliant blue Ulysees butterflies, bloody noisy frogs...at night, Golden Orb spiders who stay for a week or a month then roll up their beautiful golden web and go elsewhere....that is if a bird doesn't get her for breakfast first. Quite a few...

    Lonely.

Water line work :ummm: Jokes aside, I spend my waking hours maintaining my place, maintaining my sanity and maintaining a connection with ChristianityBoard cavaliers. My sleeping hours keeps me horizontal and I dream of pretty girls and ugly ones. :rain?:

Where did the Bible come from? - Shot out of a canon

Where did the Bible come from? - Shot out of a canon Nah, nah, nah....it blew outta the desert......a leaf at a time, and just so we don't get confused, they were numbered!

    Lonely.

Today I went up the waterline 350 meters through steep slippery terrain to do some repairs. I'm generally pretty careful but alas, a slippery rock under foot and...hallelujah, hallelujah. That was on yer bare bum comedy.

    Lonely.

ahhhhh, that was you....and I thought it was a Cassowary coming around for bananas. Old man Goanna visited also. He was at least three feet long with a six inch diameter girth. He ambled up the deck, took a long look at me and decided I wasn't tasty enough; turned around slowly and waddled off...
