So what's so new about the new Covenant, and is it better, really?

Actually, if you are not under the law (Romans 6:14), are dead to the law (Romans 7:4, Galatians 2:19), and are delivered from the law (Romans 7:6), if you violate the law you have not transgressed and therefore have not sinned (Romans 4:15); for that sin is not imputed to your account (Romans...

So what's so new about the new Covenant, and is it better, really?

I don't want to answer for @Ferris Bueller, But I think that Matthew 5:17-20 ought to have application here.

How to walk = IN The Light.

Believe it or not there are days when I champion the doctrine of eternal security. But I will qualify my statements by teaching that eternal security only applies to those who have a heart faith that is unto righteousness (Romans 10:10) and enduring to the end (Matthew 10:22, Hebrews 3:6...

rejecting Jesus Christ is different from the sin of blasphemy against the Holy Spirit.

So, you're saying that there are two unpardonable sins.

How to walk = IN The Light.

According to your definitions, I am saying that those who have a nominal, lukewarm, or shallow faith do not have everlasting life (are not saved). However, this does present a problem with the rest of scripture. For, in Ephesians 2:8-9, it should be clear, as well as in Luke 8:12, that those...

How to walk = IN The Light.

I am merely attempting to clarify what you believe. But apparently, you want to keep what you really believe hidden from us. Otherwise, you would simply affirm or deny my estimation of what you are saying you believe. I am not attempting to misrepresent you here; I am only attempting to...

    No authority!

Jhn 16:13, Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come. Here, the Spirit of truth guides us into all truth apart from people in the...

How to walk = IN The Light.

So, to you salvation is salvation from sin. Do you agree with the biblical teaching (Luke 8:12-13) that a person can be saved from sin for a season and yet not be saved eternally from hell?

So what's so new about the new Covenant, and is it better, really?

Sin is not going to be allowed in heaven....otherwise heaven will not truly be heavenly. We have our decision in this life as to whether we will relinquish our sins to Jesus on the Cross or else keep them in our lives. When we are judged, if we have not been separated from our sins, all sin is...

So what's so new about the new Covenant, and is it better, really?

You won't make good on the deal... I already showed you a passage in the kjv that shows that in slightly different words and you would not pay up. As a matter of fact, you will not reward success in this challenge with what you say, but will reward it instead with a blot on the person' name...

How to walk = IN The Light.

I would say that the person with a nominal, lukewarm, or shallow faith does not have eternal life, unending, according to your definition is not saved. While according to my definition faith definitely saves a person (if only from sin for a season). It takes a heart faith that is unto...

How to walk = IN The Light.

So, to you salvation is not salvation from sin? Mat 1:21, And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins. Tit 2:14, Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people...

So what's so new about the new Covenant, and is it better, really?

Yes, I would venture to say that this passage tells us that repentance comes first, and then salvation.

A Christian who deny Jesus is God in Flesh

Yes I can; for this is explained by the doctrine of the hypostatic union.

    Discerning : The Water Cults

    1) Baptism is not a work 2) It is a confession of Jesus before men (see Matthew 10:32, Luke 12:8) and therefore can be salvational. 3) The water only serves to accurately represent the fact that the person has been buried and raised from death as an identification with Christ in his death...

How to walk = IN The Light.

You are certainly free to clarify your teaching in light of what I say that you have said if I have misrepresented you. Luke 8:13 isn't in your Bible? Did you cut it out of your Bible with scissors? I would warn you that if you did that, Revelation 22:18-19 tells you that your name has also...

So what's so new about the new Covenant, and is it better, really?

So, if you are born again, repentance will occur, is what you are saying. Is it not nearly the same thing? Why do you say that it is a FALSE and PERVERTED gospel to teach that a man is born again through repentance and faith in the Lord Jesus Christ? Does not repentance occur either way?

    Discerning : The Water Cults

    1) water, 2) Spirit 3) fire. These three are one (Ephesians 4:5).

    The common denominator

That is not an answer to my contention.

rejecting Jesus Christ is different from the sin of blasphemy against the Holy Spirit.

Are there two unpardonable sins? A man will certainly not be forgiven of all of his sins if he rejects Christ as the remedy for his sin to his dying breath.
