    June 6,2006(6/6/06)

Good article. I think it highlights the obsession with the idea of the number 666. Which, I cannot speak for everyone else here, has no real significance as a so called "satanic" number for me. I've said it before, and I'll say it again...the use of 666 stands for the 6th vial, the 6th seal, and...

    Illegal Immigration

I just sent a message to one of my senators, Lindsey Graham, through this site I found. I'm definitely going to go down the rest of the list later this week and go through all of the avenues I can. It's worth the time on such a vitally important topic.http://www.sendmyip.com/sickandtired.htm

Where does the bible talk about the US?

Well, if you see the need to bow out because are not able to convince me then so be it. I will gladly discuss my thoughts in the open.Again I go to the context of those chapters. Look again at Jeremiah 50 KJV and you'll see what I mean. Note the specific phrase "Babylon is taken" because this...

Where does the bible talk about the US?

My friend, I don't have a problem admitting I am wrong when I am wrong. With all due respect, you talk about humility yet when someone doesn't agree with you on what you believe, they're wrong - it's as simple as that. I'm letting the Bible speak for itself in this verse and if one will pay...

Where does the bible talk about the US?

Damascus fell, but was not destroyed. There were 3 separate prophecies written about the complete destruction of Damascus over at least a couple centuries: Isaiah 17, Jeremiah 49, Zechariah 9.Jeremiah 49:25 How is the city of praise not left, the city of my joy!Clearly from the verse about, the...

    Dinosaurs in the Bible?

I think is one of the neatest of the unimportant passages in the Bible. By this, I mean that this passage doesn't have huge connotations and results on your faith but it does, perhaps, answer some questions for us.Found in Job 40 KJV:15 Behold now behemoth, which I made with thee; he eateth...

    Theophilos: Excellent Bible Software

Try http://www.christianbook.com/ - I haven't looked on there myself and can't remember if one was in the last catalog or not but they have a huge selection of things. It's really kind of sad how there isn't really a "windows" of the bible software world.

    Theophilos: Excellent Bible Software

We can do so but I'm not even aware of the alternatives found out there to be honest. There were two programs to choose form at Best Buy. I saw a few at my Christian bookstore but those were quite expensive.

Where does the bible talk about the US?

Perhaps you should read my posts in their entire context as well along with the verse itself. (I'm saying this as politely as possible.)As referenced in Genesis 4 KJV, the sons of Ishmael led to those who dwell in tents, another name for the Arabs. This is to make a point - that the Bible...

Where does the bible talk about the US?

We're all descended from them. When God told Abraham in Genesis 17:5: Neither shall thy name any more be called Abram, but thy name shall be Abraham; for a father of many nations have I made thee. Those "many nations" that are mentioned are us and that would include the United States of America...

    Validity of the gnostic texts?

Though it may be possible, I must say that it's highly doubtful. If Judas had a repentant heart, moreover, a regenerated heart, I don't think he would have hanged himself. He would more likely have lived to become an even greater apostle than Paul. I think it's very hard to put yourself in the...

    Validity of the gnostic texts?

I don't link the two. I don't really have a dog in that eschatological fight. Jesus said to His chosen disciples, "one of you is a devil" (ref. John 6:70-71). Whether or not you think Judas is called "son of perdition", we must acknowledge that clearly he was called a devil. What's to...

How do you get an avatar?

I used to never understand the use of avatars but now I love them. As you said, it's like putting your own personalized stamp on your posts and gives you an identity.

    Validity of the gnostic texts?

It's widely accepted as a false teaching as well. I'm strongly against calling Judas the Son of Perdition because it's used to falsely teach the pretribulation rapture theory in many cases. The Son of Perdition is the one who is condemned and the only one who is assured to the pit is Satan...

    Validity of the gnostic texts?

I'd have to completely disagree with your observation in John 17. The Son of Perdition is not Judas, it is Satan, the one is condemned to die in the fiery pit.Again in John 13:10-11 there's a couple of things worth pointing out. Number one, Satan entered into Judas as described briefly in Luke...

    Chronicles of Narnia...

It's worth the time when you can get around to it. I personally like LoTR better as both a storyline and movie but this one is not bad at all.
