    Sons of God

That little detail of logic destroys their argument.

    Another delemma

I'd leave. I hate being around havens of iniquity.

    Why is homosexuality a sin?

Ding! Ding! Ding! We have a winner!

    Sons of God

That too is a good question. IMO, Genesis 6:2. Remember Adam was called the son of God. His godly seed would also be called sons of God because all of faith are sons of God. Those not of faith are sons of men. [indent=1]And Jesus, [when he] began [his ministry], was himself about thirty years...

    Why is homosexuality a sin?

Doesn't life itself teach you that if you go the wrong way down a one-way street you'll get a ticket?

Why Jesus did not come to save everyone

I agree with everything you say except the title "Why everyone is not invited to salvation". God commands all men to repent. But I would clarify a point by saying God chooses whom he wills in order to glorify himself.

Shirley, You are absolutely correct, and it does get really old.

    Is faith necessary?

Sometimes some of them do. What happens when the vanishing point is the cessation of time as we know it?

What Should A Person Do If They Miss The Rapture ?

I think the 7th trumpet announces the first resurrection, the 7 vials of wrath, and day of the Lord (Armageddon), in that order.

    Is Jesus God?

This sounds like ideas set forth in the Ancient Hebrew Lexicon. Am I correct?

    Is faith necessary?

Thanks. I'm aware how they differ. I'm not sure what your point is.

    Is faith necessary?

In terms of omnipotence nothing is impossible for God. But isn't God more than omnipotence? Doesn't his righteousness and holiness bind him, and limit what he can do? Can God sin? Of course not. That is impossible. Can God dwell with unholiness? Impossible. Christ's righteousness is sufficient...

    Is faith necessary?

The sin is rejecting the light of the good news that all men are forgiven. Christ put it in these words: Whosoever speaketh a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but whosoever speaketh against the Holy Ghost, it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this world, neither in the...

    Is faith necessary?

Yes, but the two situations are not entirely equivalent. Jesus said there was one unforgiveable sin. His sacrifice does not, cannot, cover that sin. For the moment I will leave the suspense hanging.

    Impurity

    Define impurity.

Why Jesus did not come to save everyone

Christ's sacrifice is sufficient to pay for the sins of all men. Legally all are forgiven, and will receive cleansing if they come to the light. Unfortunately for the ungodly they love darkeness more than light, and so their sins will remain with them forever. Imagine the horror when those...

First the Rapture and then the Great Tribulations

What Revelation 3:9-10 really says is: Because you safeguard the word of my endurance, I also will be safeguarding you out of the hour of the trial about to come upon the whole inhabited land to try the ones dwelling upon the land. I am coming suddenly. Hold what you have so that no one takes...

First the Rapture and then the Great Tribulations

Impossible. The only possible way this statement could be true is if a person dies - i.e., Christ came for that person. The book of Revelation clearly states that certain very dire things must happen and a certain time period must elapse before he returns. Also, Christ must return some time...

    The Sabbath Principles

Of course the law is holy and perfect, and we should delight in it. But can obedience to it make you righteous, or holy? No. Only living in the new law of Christ can make you righteous and holy. You can't seem to get over the hump that the commandments can't make you holy, even if you keep them...
