I disagree with that statement. I consider myself an evangelical and I have both grounding and roots.

It does indeed mean salvation; because Jesus said that whoever comes to Him, He will by no means cast out. In other words, those who come to Jesus are accepted in the kingdom.

What other thing saves (other than faith) in Romans 4:5-6, Titus 3:5, Ephesians 2:8-9, Romans 11:5-6? It seems to me that works are excluded from being conjoined with faith in what saves a man.

We are not to go to the saints or Mary or a priest to get to God...Jesus Christ is the singular mediator there.
