    Jesus isn't Catholic

I don't see any problem with the understanding that Polycarp was being redundant.

    Jesus isn't Catholic

Christ's church didn't succumb to the gates of hell...its authority was merely transferred to those who stayed true to Christ in the Protestant Reformation (to those who became Protestants). "The glory departed" from the Catholic Church and rested on those who understood doctrines that are...

    The Bodily Resurrection of Jesus

How will He partake of the fruit of the vine new with us in His Father's kingdom? Jesus was raised bodily from the dead (John 2:19-21); He also ate a piece of broiled fish and honeycomb in His resurrected body (Luke 24:42-43). The Holy Ghost, while He is Jesus Christ, is a distinct Person from...

    The Bodily Resurrection of Jesus

The Lord Jesus is an actual human.

    Jesus isn't Catholic

I believe that Ignatius, when he said, "Catholic", meant Universal. The term did not carry the same meaning as it does today....for today it represents a denomination that is cult-like in that it claims to be the true church and the source of everything Christian.

    The Bodily Resurrection of Jesus

In the person of the Son, He is come in the flesh.

    The Bodily Resurrection of Jesus

In the person of the Holy Ghost (Luke 23:46).

    The Bodily Resurrection of Jesus

Jesus Christ is come in the flesh (1 John 4:1-3, 2 John 1:7). And, if you do not confess this fun fact, you apparently have the spirit of antichrist.

John MacArthur says you have nothing to do with being "born again"

Since you do not accept the scriptures that I quote as saying what I know they are saying, I conclude that you are not capable of interpreting the scriptures that are given to you to think on (I am referring here, at the very least, to Isaiah 57:15; from which it can clearly be inferred that God...

    Jesus isn't Catholic

I would say that not every sect in Protestantism is led by the Holy Spirit in believing what they believe; just as the Catholic Church is no longer led by the Holy Spirit to believe what it believes. As I explained in a post above, even those who have the Holy Ghost are being transformed by...

John MacArthur says you have nothing to do with being "born again"

This (what is quoted from me above) is what the reality is. But the fact that the concept goes against your Calvinistic theology means that you have to somehow refute it if you are going to keep your theology; and you attempt to do so by claiming that there are no other scriptures that...

Real Love on a Christian Forum

I believe that Jesus said those things after having been brought to the end of his rope (in His humanity). It finally became clear to Him that His message was not getting through to the scribes and Pharisees; so He finally resorted to semi-abusive speech in order to wake them up. But this was...

    The Bodily Resurrection of Jesus

Jesus raised the temple of His body (John 2:19-21). With it, after His resurrection, He ate a piece of honeycomb and broiled fish Luke 24:42-43). And, He will not drink again of the fruit of the vine until He drinks it new with us in His kingdom (Matthew 26:29).

John MacArthur says you have nothing to do with being "born again"

The answer is either yes or no for both verses. It cannot be both "yea" and "nay". If it is yes for one it is yes for the other. If it is no for one it is no for the other. There is a sense and urgency that is given by the Holy Spirit. For those who are only given an opportunity after...

    Jesus isn't Catholic

The Holy Spirit guides us into all truth, if we have Him. We are constantly being transformed by the renewing of our minds; and therefore, if someone has a different opiniion than I do, it does not necesarily mean that they are devoid of the Holy Spirit. Being justified before man does not...

    The Ten Commandments—What happened?

Just sayin'....that labouring does not make one devoid of the Spirit. Thanks for clarifying.

    Jesus isn't Catholic

Right....it was granted to those who would receive the Holy Spirit (Acts of the Apostles 2:38-39, Luke 11:9-13); either by asking or by being baptized in the name of Jesus. Amen... And the body of Christ consists of all those who believe in Jesus and what He did for them on the Cross...who...
