Who is the One that is Coming ?

The Father of eternity is still the Father.

People that do not Believe in, look and Expect the Rapture will be left Behind!!

Clearly, there will be many who will cry bitterly when the church is taken from the earth; because by that time it will have been preached to all that the GT is upon them...God's wrath on a Christ-rejecting world.

    The Ten Commandments—What happened?

I don't think it's inaccurate to use the number 613 to speak of the average # of all the laws in the Old Testament; as opposed to the ten written on tablets.

Who is the One that is Coming ?

There is a sense in which Jesus is the Father (Isaiah 9:6).

    Jesus isn't Catholic

I'm sorry, but I just couldn't find where this quote was located in our discussion. However, I know that wherever it was located, the context of the quote does vindicate me and shows that I was also not lying in that instance. Now, if you want to use the quote feature and quote it, then we can...

    Jesus isn't Catholic

I responded with this tidbit from Wikipedia. Apparently you think that what a Pope does does not represent the Catholic Church. I am of the opposite opinion. Now, I had to go searching back for that particular exchange and apparently it is so far back that I couldn't find it. But I recall...

John MacArthur says you have nothing to do with being "born again"

On the other hand, we are justified by faith apart from works (Romans 4:1-8, esp. vs.5-6, Ephesians 2:8-9, Titus 3:4-7, esp. v.5, Romans 11:5-6).

    Jesus isn't Catholic

What I am saying is that if you read your Bible as extensively as I do, you won't have the time to read your Catechism.

    Jesus isn't Catholic

What lies have I spoken? They must be multitudinous for you to keep carrying on like this. If you can point out more than the original three that you accused me of, I will be surprised... And it is also true that I proved that two of the orginal three were not in fact lies and that the third...

    Jesus isn't Catholic

Show how I have continued lying about anything.

    Jesus isn't Catholic

I think that you keep dredging up things that are firmly placed underneath the blood of Jesus. That is what satan does. You need to stop before you end up being condemned yourself.

    Jesus isn't Catholic

When you start reading your Bible according to the following plan: An excellent Bible reading plan. Then you can condemn me for not doing enough work.

People that do not Believe in, look and Expect the Rapture will be left Behind!!

No; but this particular thing in Zephaniah, does sound like the rapture: Zep 2:3, Seek ye the LORD, all ye meek of the earth, which have wrought his judgment; seek righteousness, seek meekness: it may be ye shall be hid in the day of the LORD'S anger.

    The Ten Commandments—What happened?

The righteousness of God that is apart from the law is a practical righteousness that is attested to by the law and the prophets. Galatians 5:22-23 shows forth that this righteousness is according to the law (just not by it)...the law testifies that this righteousness is righteousness indeed...

John MacArthur says you have nothing to do with being "born again"

The name of the man who was born blind is not given in scripture. Bartimaeus was a different blind man.

John MacArthur says you have nothing to do with being "born again"

Didn't see that post; apparently the Lord wanted a 2nd witness to what was spoken. :)

John MacArthur says you have nothing to do with being "born again"

However, they are not born again because they obey the gospel. They obey the gospel because they are born again. They are born again because they believe the gospel.

John MacArthur says you have nothing to do with being "born again"

It is a conditional promise that is also given to as many as the Lord our God shall call. The condition is clearly baptism in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth for the remission of sins. This would indicate (Romans 8:30) that if anyone is predestinated and called, they will receive this...
