The logic of Trinitarians and Jehovah's Witnesses...

Indeed (1 Timothy 6:4, 2 Timothy 2:14). However, those who argue that it should be a different word than what is given in our kjv, often are seeking to promote a doctrine that is different than the gospel that is preached by our faithful kjv.

Very big GAP in the trinity

Jesus is the Word become flesh (John 1:1, John 1:14). Those who deny the incarnation find themselves condemned as having the spirit of antichrist according to 1 John 4:1-3, 2 John 1:7).

ISRAEL WILL REIGN ON THE EARTH

It is indeed the body of Christ who will reign on the earth during the 1,000 year reign of Christ.

The logic of Trinitarians and Jehovah's Witnesses...

@janc2, If you do not believe that Jesus is the great I AM, you will die in your sins (John 8:24).

John MacArthur says you have nothing to do with being "born again"

In the case of Cornelius and friends, it should be clear that God was doing a new work in that time and was transitioning the church so that it would receive Gentiles into the fold. Therefore, the Lord went outside of the normal protocol and gave the Holy Ghost to those who had not yet been...

John MacArthur says you have nothing to do with being "born again"

Hi @Enoch111, The Holy Ghost is absolutely promised as the result of being baptized in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth for the remission of sins (Acts of the Apostles 2:38-39)... And while He can be received merely as the result of asking (Luke 11:9-13), He is most definitely promised to...

The logic of Trinitarians and Jehovah's Witnesses...

I'm really not sure why you keep lumping me in with those who do not believe that it was the Father who descended to become a Man. In doing so, He became the Son. But He also did not cease to dwell in eternity as the everlasting Father. Jesus is also the same, everlasting Father (Isaiah 9:6)...

    Jesus isn't Catholic

If someone truly believes in Christ with a heart faith that is unto righteousness (Romans 10:10) and enduring to the end (Matthew 10:22, Hebrews 3:6, Hebrews 3:14), then that person has everlasting life from the moment of first faith....life that can never come to an end....otherwise it is...

Very big GAP in the trinity

It is not only the RCC that teaches that God incarnated in flesh. It is a biblical doctrine (1 Timothy 3:16 (kjv), 1 John 4:1-3, 2 John 1:7).

The logic of Trinitarians and Jehovah's Witnesses...

The answer is yes of course (sorry I didn't get to answering you sooner, I stepped away from the computer to do my devotions). The Father and the Son are in fact the same Spirit and therefore they are the same Person; however they are distinct from one another in that one is come in the flesh...

The logic of Trinitarians and Jehovah's Witnesses...

The Father dwells in eternity as an eternal Spirit (Isaiah 57:15). He descended to become a Man (He is come in the flesh). But it is the nature of one who inhabits eternity that they dwell in eternity for all of eternity; and therefore in descending, the Father did not cease to dwell in...

Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven

Through casting yourself upon the mercies of the Lord; and by believing in what He has done for you on the Cross in order to provide mercy and forgiveness (and that His justice might still be satisfied).

The logic of Trinitarians and Jehovah's Witnesses...

Yes we are talking about the same Spirit and therefore the same Person. Between me and you @101G I find that it is a matter of semantics that cause any disagreement between us; for I am in agreement with your main premise in what you post about the nature of the Godhead. I say to you truly...

The logic of Trinitarians and Jehovah's Witnesses...

Yes, because God is a Spirit (John 4:24). Therefore if Jesus is God, He is still a Spirit; though He is come in human flesh.

John MacArthur says you have nothing to do with being "born again"

We have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand (Romans 5:1-2).
  17. J

Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven

"poor in spirit" means those who come to the Lord as beggars and not with pride. We are to cast ourselves upon the mercies of our God; knowing that He reserves the right to save those whom He will and to condemn those whom He will.

    The Ten Commandments—What happened?

Jesus did indeed magnify the law and make it honourable; and He also did change the law. Consider chapter 3 of The Wet Paint Principle: Wet Paint Principle (Freedom)

    The Ten Commandments—What happened?

Heb 7:18, For there is verily a disannulling of the commandment going before for the weakness and unprofitableness thereof. Heb 7:19, For the law made nothing perfect, but the bringing in of a better hope did; by the which we draw nigh unto God. Surely there is a reconciliation between these...
