    True Trinity.

That the Son was begotten in the incarnation is evident in our reading of Matthew 1:18-20 and Luke 1:35. If He was eternally begotten and then descended to become a Man, then you have a 2nd God next to the Father in eternity; if you understand the book of Isaiah correctly, I don't think that...

For The 9999th Time, OSAS (Albeit Testimony Time)

This actually says (in the kjv): 1Th 5:23, And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. 1Th 5:24, Faithful is he that calleth you, who also will do it.

Christians and the Law of Moses

No, I don't think that I was keeping His law before I got saved. The law being a schoolmaster to lead men to Christ means that it shows mankind that he is a sinner in need of a Saviour (Romans 3:20).

    Baptism in Jesus' Name (poll).

Yes, indeed, @Pearl... Baptism is one way of identifying with and confessing the Lord Jesus Christ before men (see Matthew 10:32).

What Keeps Us From Sinning In Heaven?

I believe that if anyone does sin in heaven, that their sins are covered by the blood of our Lord Jesus Christ; and the only sin that would merit being cast out of heaven would be the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost. Nevertheless, we will have glorified bodies there and the presence of sin...

    Grace vs Legalism

Nor things to come... shall not impute sin... eternal redemption.

For The 9999th Time, OSAS (Albeit Testimony Time)

Both my wife and I heard the voice of the Lord saying to us, at different times (what I place below in larger letters): Jer 31:3, The LORD hath appeared of old unto me, saying, Yea, I have loved thee with an everlasting love: therefore with lovingkindness have I drawn thee. This has served to...

    Baptism in Jesus' Name (poll).

That is in fact what many teach.

Christians and the Law of Moses

Nothing in the law has the power to impart life (Galatians 3:21). However, if a person has life, they will be obedient to the word of the Lord (2 Corinthians 5:17 (kjv)). Nevertheless, life is imparted solely through faith in Jesus Christ and His shed blood.

    Rest IN Peace

I have said it before and will say it again...sometimes you show up on my radar as "Ignored Member". And on those occasions, I may peek in to see what you are up to. But you are on an ego trip if you think that I am obsessed with you.

    Rest IN Peace

Most assuredly, He is a monster who drags you kicking and screaming out of everlasting fire in order that you might experience eternal pleasures for evermore...

    Rest IN Peace

Sorry if that didn't make sense. I have @BreadOfLife on Ignore.

    Rest IN Peace

Of course, faith and works are mutually exclusive when it comes to what saves a man (Ephesians 2:8-9)

    Baptism in Jesus' Name (poll).

Is not the circumcision of the heart accomplished at baptism, according to Colossians 2:11-12?
  15. J

Christians and the Law of Moses

No commandment has the power to impart life, Galatians 3:21. The law does have the power to convert the soul (Psalms 19:7 (kjv)), in that it is a schoolmaster to lead you to Christ (Galatians 3:24); because it shows mankind that he is a sinner in need of a Saviour (Romans 3:20).

    Grace vs Legalism

And it is your behaviour that you try to take the credit for sound teaching when other people teach it, saying that you taught it first... Fact is, sometimes you do teach what is sound; but evidently your only reason for doing so is so that you can take the credit for it when it is taught by...

    Grace vs Legalism

I believe that it is characteristic of those who fall away that they originally receive the gospel anonymously with joy (Matthew 13:20 (kjv)). Because they did not make their profession public, they had no root in themselves; because I suppose that they hoped to go incognito as believers...

How could the Messiah be sinless?

The devil, when he quotes scripture, always omits certain parts of any verse or passage in question.

    Forever Secure

Then there is Matthew 10:22, which does not in context refer to the GT. I believe that the kjv is more accurate in saying that they shall not come into condemnation (as opposed to judgment). All will be judged (2 Corinthians 5:10). Believers will be judged at the bema seat, spoken of in 1...
