PETER AND PAUL AND THE NAME

So, apply that to Romans 4:11 and see where it gets you.

How could the Messiah be sinless?

I simply disagree with you. Him who inhabiteth eternity is the Father, this is cut and dried.

    Grace vs Legalism

Consider what it says in Matthew 8:1-4. Jesus told the leper, who was completely cleansed, to tell no man, but go and show yourself to the priests. So, it is not that I believe that a man cannot be completely cleansed so that he has no sin; but that if he says that he has no sin, he is...

    With So Many Denominations...

I'm not certain that having a plurality of elders is the only biblical model for leadership. There is the Moses model...

    Passover vs Eucharist

Rev 2:18, And unto the angel of the church in Thyatira write; These things saith the Son of God, who hath his eyes like unto a flame of fire, and his feet are like fine brass; Rev 2:19, I know thy works, and charity, and service, and faith, and thy patience, and thy works; and the last to be...

    With So Many Denominations...

I am saying that if the person is bearing good fruit, that is not a reason to leave them for another pastor.

How could the Messiah be sinless?

Correct. The Person of the Son is the Person of the Father come in the flesh via the hypostatic union. The Person of the Father is an eternal Spirit who inhabiteth eternity, Isaiah 57:15.

    Grace vs Legalism

I disagree with you. 1 John 1:8 applies to the one who claims to have no sin, whether they are a Christian or not; and it declares that the one who claims to have no sin does in fact deceive themselves and the truth is not in them.

    Grace vs Legalism

In the practical sense. However, this does not eradicate indwelling sin. Not to be too obnoxiously redundant, indwelling sin can be rendered dead (Romans 6:6, Galatians 5:24, Romans 7:8) so that it no longer has dominion over my behaviour (Romans 6:14).

How could the Messiah be sinless?

And the Person of the Son is the Father come in human flesh (via the hypostatic union).

PETER AND PAUL AND THE NAME

You are confusing things here. Circumcision in the Bible is a physical operation taking away the foreskin of the male organ. 1 Corinthians 7:19, Galatians 5:6, and Galatians 6:15 all speak of what I was talking about. In Romans 4:11, circumcision is not required for a man to have...

    Grace vs Legalism

If a Christian believes that he has been cleansed of all sin and therefore does not have sin, is he not in the same boat as the gnostic who believes that he has no sin?

You will know them by their fruits.

The relationship between faith and works.

You present yourself to God so that He might accept you...think of what this means at every level.

    Grace vs Legalism

Using that method, they will go, and fall backward, and be broken, and snared, and taken (Isaiah 28:13). It is important to read through entire books of scripture and get everything in its immediate context.

    Grace vs Legalism

It's both (Romans 5:2, Acts of the Apostles 18:27).

Yes, I had you confused with @Mr C.
