    Grace vs Legalism

God most certainly doesn't make us into robots. He transforms us from being dogs or swine into being sheep. A dog returns to its vomit and a pig to its wallowing in the mire. Sheep despise vomit and mud; and will only partake of it involuntarily. Put a pig in the palace and it will run back...

    Grace vs Legalism

No one who has the fear of the LORD in them will walk away from Him. Jeremiah 32:38-40 (kjv), Psalms 19:9 (kjv). You were saying that someone with faith can lose their salvation because of disobedience. However, our position in the Lord is not based on our keeping the law, our performance, or...

    With So Many Denominations...

Yes; always be a Berean (Acts of the Apostles 17:10-11).

    Grace vs Legalism

Ecc 3:14, I know that, whatsoever God doeth, it shall be for ever: nothing can be put to it, nor any thing taken from it: and God doeth it, that men should fear before him. Salvation is the gift of the Lord, Romans 6:23. And the gifts and the calling of God are without repentance, Romans 11:29.

    Grace vs Legalism

John 5:24 (kjv)... Jhn 5:24, Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life. Breaking it down, this is an absolute promise of the Lord in holy scripture...

    Grace vs Legalism

The Lord removing salvation from someone because of their disobedience would qualify as a "breach of promise"...Numbers 14:34.

    Grace vs Legalism

The subject of eternal security is of importance to the soul. Many, if they do not find that God would have the ability to keep them, may not ever embark upon the journey of seeking to be born again.

    Mustard Seed Fellowship.

Amen brother. I believe that God does indeed use the foolish things of the world to confound the wise. I know that if I trust in my flesh, I am completely off-base every moment. But if I rely on the Holy Spirit, I sometimes become surprised at how much sound doctrine comes from my keyboard...

    Grace vs Legalism

I believe that God is outside of time and that therefore, He sees all things from the perspective of His position in eternity. And of course He deals with each one of us on a moment-by-moment basis.

    Grace vs Legalism

I believe that the Father doesn't see our vile bodies and the indwelling sin that so easily besets us in temptation, when He looks at us in one sense; but in another sense He does. He is not blind to reality; but on the other hand we are forgiven of all of our sins and He is going to remember...

    Mustard Seed Fellowship.

I think that perhaps I have overstepped my bounds. I do not presume to take a position of authority except for the authority that is in the word of God, in that I seek to almost always back up my statements with scripture. I do believe that whether it is official or not, that these boards...

    Grace vs Legalism

No, transparency is an attitude...like faith...that produces behaviour.

    Grace vs Legalism

I would say yes. What do you think?
  14. J

    Grace vs Legalism

No, He see the blood of Jesus when He looks at us; which covers over all of our sins (Romans 4:7).

    Mustard Seed Fellowship.

No, I was dead serious. Thought about deleting the post after having posted it, but couldn't. Maybe I'm having a break or something. (But I certainly haven't stopped taking my meds.) But if I'm not, this thing will stick in some people's minds. There is a purpose, after all.

    Grace vs Legalism

Yes, Hebrews 4:13. The Holy Spirit deals with us on the basis of our sins. But rhe Father sees us through rose-colored glasses, so to speak...He sees us through the shed blood of Christ. . . . . . . It is not our behaviour that we add, but rather a part of being saved is that we will not...

1 John 3:5-9 proves me right.

    Mustard Seed Fellowship.

I have had an idea for quite some time, of having a church that consists of few people (starting out as a small seed) that will nevertheless grow to become a mighty tree that the fowls of the air will be able to lodge in. The name of the church is Mustard Seed Fellowship. Within its concept is...

    Grace vs Legalism

That is actually talking about indwelling sin, not the practicing or committing of sins.

    Grace vs Legalism

She didn't say that she had quoted you. Her exact words were, "no inniendos, just quotes". I think you need to apologize to her. And also, I was pointing the finger at no one....I simply pointed out that there was a certain behaviour that I consider to be wrong. If the shoe fits, of course...
