You're misquoting. It's "the people of the prince that shall come". Messiah is that prince also. He came several hundred years after Daniel wrote. One prince.

True. Reference to Messiah's crucifixion does not preclude continued reference to Him. The reference is to "the people of the prince", not "the prince of the people". Via grammatical referent back to verse 25, the prince continues to be Messiah. "The people of the prince that shall come"...

Neither is in Daniel 9:24-27.

Messiah is the only Individual identified as a prince.
