The Bible says the earth is round ("circle," Isaiah 40:22, Job 26:10, Proverbs 8:27, Psalm 104:5, Acts 17:26). The ancients knew the earth is curved, since ships would disappear over the horizon. I doubt if they knew the earth is a globe. In fact there are some among us who still do not believe...

My point is that we don't *know* that, it is a *hypothesis.* The breakup is obvious, that is where the concept of Pangaea came from.

IMO there are two future comings of Jesus. o One is Jesus taking up believers from the area of the coming battle (Revelation 14:14-16). o. The other is Jesus leading his angels down to battle at the plain of Megiddo (Revelation 19:11-21).

The Hebrew name for God is יהוה. Hebrew reads right to left, but English reads left to right, so in English we would write this as Yahweh. This name is thought to connote eternal self-existence.

The Bible indicates that this entire universe is about 6000 years old. The idea behind "millions" of years is that "anything is possible given enough time." But time is not the issue, rather the issue is that natural forces do not create order, they degrade order.

"Earth" in Genesis 12:3 is Hebrew האדמה = "the land." There was no concept of planet earth in Biblical times.

IMO: o. "The Lord will come suddenly to his temple" (Malachi 3:1). o. No temple, no return of Jesus.

IMO at the time of the creation (Genesis chapter 1) there was no Middle East, and there was only one continent (Pangaea).

IMO: o Everything that happens stems from God, including our thoughts. o God spoke and this *entire universe* came into existence, hence the idea that anything escapes what God ordains seems non-sequitur to me. o Free will is a valid concept, but it is a human perception.

Heavenly Jerusalem will eventually come to earth (Revelation chapter 21).
