There is water. That shouldn't be an excuse. But too, the word is what it is and means what it means. The Greek word baptizo, mesns to dip, plunge, immerse. Does cat mean dog, or vice versa? Is bathing taking a bath the same as sun bathing? Is daylight the same as sunlight?
