Does anything at all exist without God?

How about the computer you're sitting in front of right now? Did computers exist from time immemorial?

But according to Catholics, she IS of the same caliber of God, since they claim our prayers are allegedly received through her. She is allegedly the intercessor in heaven for the only intercessor that we know of, Jesus Christ. Do you not see the blatant, blasphemous deification in such beliefs?

Can a Christian be only partly saved?

Well, if they can't see the sun coming up, then maybe they really do have wood in their eyes.

Can a Christian be only partly saved?

Well to this, some would say that "with God, all things are possible"........which presumably means even people literally walking around with wood in their eyes.

The Bible is more a record of those who "know", than those who "believe."

What revelations have you received that we haven't already heard, that I would particularly care for?

Can a Christian be only partly saved?

"He was saved as saved could be." There are some even here that would disagree with that assessment, but no matter, sure thing sport.

Can a Christian be only partly saved?

Me "knowing God" ain't got nothing to do with it. Its a simple question really, as it pertains to the thief on the cross.

Can a Christian be only partly saved?

Well, is sanctification a requirement to be considered saved? These are the questions I don't see brought forth much.

Good post, and they call her their "queen", and not just any queen either, but the queen of heaven. Luke quotes Mary as explicitly stating God as her savior. Would an alleged "queen" of such caliber ever need a savior to start with?

Can a Christian be only partly saved?

What about the thief on the cross? Apparently he repented of his sins and confessed that Jesus was Lord, otherwise he wouldn't have promised him a place in 'paradise'. This was promised despite the fact that this same thief condemned Jesus along with the other thief on the cross, priests and...

The Bible is more a record of those who "know", than those who "believe."

The way I see it, if the demons didn't truly know God as Adam knew Eve, then they wouldn't be so afraid of his name to start with. They don't instantly buzz off in any others name but his, not Donald Trump, not Dcopymope, not any of us. That kind of fear comes from more than just knowing who he...

The Bible is more a record of those who "know", than those who "believe."

Separating the "believer" from the "knower's" is exactly what ScottA has done, elevating himself above all others who just "believe", because God apparently appeared before him. I don't recall Paul elevating himself and separating himself from the believer, from the other apostles just because...

The Bible is more a record of those who "know", than those who "believe."

That still doesn't explain how you "knowing God" is any different than someone "believing" in God. The demons know God as Lord as well, so it doesn't prove anything. Are you saying that a believer cannot know that God is NOT his enemy because he doesn't "know God"? Whats the deal here?

The Bible is more a record of those who "know", than those who "believe."

So "knowing" God has been elevated above having faith in God, and separated entirely as different from one another. So I'm assuming those who claim to "know God" are saying this because they have had an epiphany of some sort, perhaps similar to Paul, and this somehow makes them special. Since...

    The Mormons Are Coming

You don't say hey? Not that I wasn't more or less aware of what they believed. If they claim to be believers, then you are still preaching to the choir. You all would be better off having a discussion with atheists and agnostics, or simply put, those who don't in any way identify with your...

I think the term "God/Man" is him confirming that he was fully God and fully human. I don't see how claiming he 'possessed' the human fetus denies it. As far as I can tell, that's exactly what happened, unless one wants to claim that it was a natural birth, but then I would surely be denying his...
