Be born again to be whose child?

I agree. On my view point faith must be constructed on true information; otherwise is just credulity.

Be born again to be whose child?

Interesting, a family, Father, children/sons, brothers/sisters. Compare what Jesus said after his resurrection: John 20:17 Jesus said to her: “Stop clinging to me, for I have not yet ascended to the Father. But go to my brothers and say to them, ‘I am ascending to my Father and your Father and...

Be born again to be whose child?

Do you think is a wrong way to say it?

Be born again to be whose child?

So, whose children become the born again Christians? Jehovah's children? The trinity's children? Jesus' children? What kind of relationship have those born again Christians? How do they consider Jesus? Their Father?

163 Reasons The LORD JESUS Christ Is Almighty God!!!

I disagree. :) Emmanuel is a common Jew name. One of my brothers' name is Emmanuel.

163 Reasons The LORD JESUS Christ Is Almighty God!!!

Mmmh, NO, it is not that simple. Abiel – God my Father Abimael – A Father sent from God Adbeel – Disciplined of God[2] Arael – Light of God or Vision of God Ariel, Auriel – Lion of God Barakiel, Baraquiel – Lightning of God Barbiel – Illumination of God Barchiel – Kindness of God or Ray of God...

Be born again to be whose child?

So, I guess you do think you are born again. And: whose child did you become? Jehovah's? The trinity's? Jesus'? 1 Pet. 1:3 Praised be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, for according to his great mercy he gave us a new birth to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ...

Be born again to be whose child?

Nobody is born when he wants to. Nobody adopts his father, but some persons go to look for the child to adopt. This "born again" thing became a joke for most Christians out there. Let's talk about being born again from the biblical point of view. First thing first: being born to be whose child?

Jesus own words that He is the Son of God

Mmmh, "spiritually discerned"? What about what Paul said here? 1 Cor. 15:27 For God “subjected all things under his feet.” But when he says that ‘all things have been subjected', it is evident that this does not include the One who subjected all things to him. 28 But when all things will have...

Jesus own words that He is the Son of God

God is supposed to be in the Supreme position, the highest position in the entire Universe, and is placed as absolute Majesty. For that reason the Bible calls him God of gods. However, Jesus has a God (John 20:17; Rev. 3:12). Doesn't that tell you anything?

Jesus own words that He is the Son of God

Mmmh, not cool. :( Of course, there is a special proskyneo that can be given to the Father, but not only to him as you can see before ... I have only been showing you the use of the word in the Scriptures and you get violent unnecessarily. There is another word with the "worship" sense that...

Jesus own words that He is the Son of God

I just proved you wrong :) (Matt. 18:26; Rev. 3:9).

How did sin enter the world ?

So, when you read Rom. 5:12-14, what do you think of exactly what is said there?
  14. E

Jesus own words that He is the Son of God

@Davy , look these cases: Abraham renders himself "proskyneo" to the Hittites (Canaanites) as owners of the land he wished to purchase as a burial place for Sarah (Gen. 23:4-20 ... note verses 7 and 12 especially); Jacob and all his people render Esau "proskyneo" (Gen. 33: 3-7); Moses renders...

How did sin enter the world ?

Jesus said that someone can be SINNING without doing it, just by thinking about it. Is that included in your definition of SIN?

Jesus own words that He is the Son of God

I disagree. :) Did you check about that word beside those texts (like in Matt. 18:26; Rev. 3:9, or its use in the LXX) and without the trinitarian prejudices? And: do you think the astrologers were worshiping a God or giving homage to a King?

Do you believe Spirit baptism replaces water baptism?

I never talk about SALVATION, but about what organized Christians should do according to the Bible.

    Hello there

Yeap, and posting in other forums already ... I don't like to talk much about me. I am here mostly to talk about my beliefs and read about other's. I belong to a very large community of Christians who adore Jehovah as God and got my social life among them. My participation on the forum is about...

Do you believe Spirit baptism replaces water baptism?

If "Spirit baptism" (whatever you think it is or function at modern times) were a replacement for water baptism, Jesus would not have been baptized. Water baptism is a fundamental and primary teaching of Christians. There are too many "independent" Christians today and they don't know how to...

Jesus own words that He is the Son of God

That "worship" stuff is not what you think it is. It is a very common practice at that time to show respect at very diferent levels without implicating deity at all. It is simple to verify: look for that Greek word in all the NT and in the LXX and you'll be surprised.
