The Atonement: What did it REALLY Accomplish?

    You know that how?

The Atonement: What did it REALLY Accomplish?

I don't think you understand what you mean by that.

The Atonement: What did it REALLY Accomplish?

Yes, of course, but how does that happen? Does it happen to everyone? Does it happen only to some and not others? If some and not others, who are the some that it happens to?

    How does that happen?

The Atonement: What did it REALLY Accomplish?

Why would he that doesn't believe be baptized? Clearly, your reading skills and comprehension abilities are simply not up to snuff. But I will give you a chance. Jesus said, "Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved". Please tell me, what do you think He meant? I am really curious to know...

How Jesus has ALREADY Reconciled Us and the World unto God.

And that tells me that you can't read. That is obvious from you nearly complete lack of understanding of scripture. But I will give you a chance. Jesus said, "Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved". Please tell me, what do you think He meant? I am really curious to know what your...

But I will give you a chance. Jesus said, "Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved". Please tell me, what do you think He meant? I am really curious to know what your interpretation of what Jesus said there might be.

How Jesus has ALREADY Reconciled Us and the World unto God.

Would you prefer to have died as a baby not knowing God?

How Jesus has ALREADY Reconciled Us and the World unto God.

And you think that a person who never sinned would be eternally condemned anyway? Interesting. Why do you think God would do that?

The Atonement: What did it REALLY Accomplish?

What you can't handle is what God has actually said in the Bible and what He hasn't said in the Bible. And as such what isn't there you simply make up to satisfy you seriously lacking soteriology. Pathetic. But I will give you a chance. Jesus said, "Whoever believes and is baptized will be...

How Jesus has ALREADY Reconciled Us and the World unto God.

Certainly no one has ever sinned before they were born. And indeed, unfortunately, some have not lived long enough to have sinned.

The Atonement: What did it REALLY Accomplish?

No, the RCC does not teach what I believe. They do teach baptismal regeneration. I do not. Perhaps you should leave those decisions up to God. I do think He is able to handle such issues; you obviously are not.

How Jesus has ALREADY Reconciled Us and the World unto God.

Why do folks like you always point to the first parts of Romans 5:18 and 19 and then fail to understand that it is the last parts of those verses that Paul is focusing on? And then even when you do discuss the last parts you fail to understand what Paul is even saying. There is really a lot to...

The Atonement: What did it REALLY Accomplish?

Yes, that is when God forgives the sins of the penitent believer, or so it says in scripture as I have shown you.

The Atonement: What did it REALLY Accomplish?

Yes, but in Romans 10:17 the word is from the Greek ῥῆμα [rhēma] meaning the spoken word. It is not the Greek word λόγος [logos]. And it is not the word from God, rather it is the word about God or Christ. I am not sure what you even mean by Alive in Spirit? That phrase does not appear...

The Atonement: What did it REALLY Accomplish?

Too bad you do not know and understand what all of that means.

How Jesus has ALREADY Reconciled Us and the World unto God.

No, not really. One is not born saved. One is born not needing to be saved. That is because one doesn't need to be saved from their sins until he has sinned. God forms the spirit of each person within him at birth (or at conception) (Zech 12:1; Eccl 12:7). That spirit is not dead in sin...

The Atonement: What did it REALLY Accomplish?

Rom 10:17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
  19. J

The Atonement: What did it REALLY Accomplish?

Give us the scripture that says that.

The Atonement: What did it REALLY Accomplish?

Yes forgiveness of sins happens when one is baptized. That said, that does not mean that water or baptism in water is the forgiving agent. Clearly the forgiving agent is God. And I have never taught or said anything other than that. Also it seems that I am in good company when I say and teach...
