The myth of grace-only & easy-believism shattered forever

Paul was not made "Eternally Secure" anymore than he was made "Santa Claus." Both extrabiblical suggestions are not in the Bible.

The myth of grace-only & easy-believism shattered forever

God spent vastly more inspiration warning Believers not to fall into License or Legalism than He ever talked about getting saved! If a "true believer" will not fall into either, why would we have Hebrews 10: 26-31; That makes no logical sense! I can see how someone that looks at Scripture with...

The myth of grace-only & easy-believism shattered forever

I see, you are saying that a Christian is Eternally Secure, and that they can fall into license and be it does not matter; yet if a Christian who is Eternally Secure, falls into legalism, then they are in danger of not being saved. Strange how both legalism and license are both sin in the...

    The Impotent Church

There is Church, the Organism we call the Body of believers, and there is the Church, the Organization where people gather for fellowship, and are under the oversight of a pastor. There is no argument that the true Church is the spiritual Body; there is no doubt that physical organizations are...

The myth of grace-only & easy-believism shattered forever

Since you obviously do not have a Biblical answer, I suggest that you stop harping on the notion that if someone is perfect, they have no need of grace. Perfection is in the Bible, so what Biblical evidence do you have that grace is not needed for that?

The myth of grace-only & easy-believism shattered forever

You are correct! There are valid links between OSAS and Antinomianism. Doctrines have consequences. I know many OSAS believers that do not use their doctrine as a means to sin, but they are living above their creed. They can talk a good talk, and even live very holy lives, but if OSAS is true...

The myth of grace-only & easy-believism shattered forever

So? It still says what it says! If it applies to Jewish Christians, they are just as Christian as any in history! Hebrews 10: 26- 31 certainly proves OSAS to be a fraud!

Perhaps you can show us where this tripe is in Scripture!

Can men with man buns be saved?

So, you would have no problem with the male who wears a man-bun when he goes to read at Drag Time Story Hour?

Can men with man buns be saved?

I asked that question differently: I inquired as to what the definition of "long" is, concerning men, and what is "short" concerning women. Whatever "long" hair was for a male, was by nature, shorter than what was normal for women. As for some medieval painting of what Jesus supposedly looked...

    The Impotent Church

Yes, but perhaps I am saying a bit more. The trend of being more feminized has been going on a lot longer than just the past 50 years, but it is accelerating. The trend is going in that direction in society, so obviously, many people see this as a good thing. We can ponder what damage it does...

    Open rebellion against God

God cannot choose when and if He uses His power? I have the power to do a lot of things; yet I find it unnecessary to do many things. If everything is due to God's power, then we have nothing to do but fast-forward to the end, for we are not responsible for anything. I just took a gulp of...

Can men with man buns be saved?

I did not miss the context. Paul appeals directly to "nature," does he not? "Doeth not even nature itself teach you?" (KJV) Yes, in context the hierarchy and culture are both part of the Corinthian "problem." Paul, speaking to a Heathen Culture appeals to natural law. The truth of such an...

    Open rebellion against God

I am showing that people admit a limitation. Omnipotence does not demand that God use His power in every instance. That power is not used absolutely. Exactly! I never said that God was not Omnipotent. Exactly again! Do we accept and teach a Pantheistic God? Do we take this attribute...

    Open rebellion against God

The response was made to a true believer that "un-born" is a solid argument. The example of "un-cancelling" stamps is the exact same argument as saying that a Christian can be "un-born." It is utter nonsense! You can explain the futility of bad logic and flawed arguments by giving an example why...

    Open rebellion against God

How is this an answer to my post? Do you not believe the Scriptures? You can't have it both ways!
  17. Candidus

    Open rebellion against God

The answer is "yes" as you point out! God is: Omnipotent Omnipresent Omniscient You admit that Omnipotence and Omnipresence are not "absolute" and place limits and exceptions on those attributes. Yet, you become an absolutist when it comes to Omniscience because it feeds the circular argument...

    Open rebellion against God

The Bible says that God hates evil, so if an Omnipotent God allows evil to exist, He is either evil, or he is not Omnipotent! Let's build our theology on the logic of what we think of God's attributes and not Scripture!

Can men with man buns be saved?

"Does not the very nature of things teach you that if a man has long hair, it is a disgrace to him, but that if a woman has long hair, it is her glory? For long hair is given to her as a covering." This is an appeal to nature; natural law and not Culture. What is "long" for men.... what is...

    Open rebellion against God

God is Omnipotent, does that mean that he is evil? All that unnecessary pain and suffering the world, and God does not stop it? Having the power to do anything, does not mean that He is obligated to do certain things! God is Omnipresent, yet is He alone on the top of every mountain where no...
