Yeah they did. Would seem weird in this day to do that but, the Word does say to greet one another with a holy kiss...

It was the way he and the Pharisees agreed on to identify Jesus from the others. Also, it was the height of hypocrisy, for sure! The kiss was a normal greeting. Proverbs 27:6 say's it all... "Faithful are the wounds of a friend; But the kisses of an enemy are deceitful."
