    True Trinity.

"His flesh is in one place at one time; but His Spirit is everywhere." Do you not see the distinction?

What do you think this text says about the deity of Christ?

I'm not following your line of reasoning; I need more info.

What do you think this text says about the deity of Christ?

Well, glory be to God then that the communication between us is limited.

What do you think this text says about the deity of Christ?

Does Jesus specifically address the scribes and Pharisees as being scribes and Pharisees in John 8:24? I don't think so. He is making a doctrinal statement that applies to all. Where in the passage does it say that Gentiles are excluded?

What do you think this text says about the deity of Christ?

No, we are not saved by our works. We are saved through placing our faith in the right object of faith.

What do you think this text says about the deity of Christ?

@Angelina When you came to understand that He is truly God, if you are born again you did not reject that idea, is all that I'm saying.

    A question for mormons.

I'm certain that I will be in the highest heaven when He comes to take me home.

What do you think this text says about the deity of Christ?

That is not true according to the scripture at hand.

What do you think this text says about the deity of Christ?

@amadeus, We build on the foundation of Jesus Christ a building. When we are adding new things to the building, it is not wise to tear down the old things if they are made of gold, silver, and precious gems. Therefore, for the most part, we ought not to empty ourselves of old information when...

What do you think this text says about the deity of Christ?

In believing Jesus is the Son of God, the informed will believe that He is also God: Isaiah 9:6, Hebrews 1:8-9. You would be wrong in not thinking that. To believe in the Son of God is to believe in the everlasting Father, see Isaiah 9:6. Therefore to not believe He is the Son of God is to...

    A question for mormons.

I will pray for you, Jane. I think that this discussion is coming to a close. You don't see what is plainly in front of you; so I see no reason in continuing to try and show it to you.

    A question for mormons.

2Co 4:4, In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.

What do you think this text says about the deity of Christ?

2Ti 3:16, All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: What Jesus said to the Pharisees is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, and for instruction in righteousness.

    A question for mormons.

Neither do I. Therefore (because God does not change) for Mormonism to be valid, it cannot be in contradiction to any doctrine that we find in the Bible. Nevertheless, the very OP and course of this thread shows that there is contradiction there.

    A question for mormons.

You should try it as an experiment. Tell all your Mormon friends that you now believe in the Jesus of the Bible and are rejecting Mormonism and want out of the Mormon church. Then do it (leave), for say, three months. See what their reaction is. On the other hand, don't. In giving you this...

What do you think this text says about the deity of Christ?

God doesn't get any glory if you are lacking in the ability to communicate what He wants you to say.

What do you think this text says about the deity of Christ?

I'm afraid you're going to have to be more specific if you don't want your point to be lost on me. And I was also agreeing with you.

What do you think this text says about the deity of Christ?

Amen... my only contention with you is that you don't seem to take John 8:24 at face value.

What do you think this text says about the deity of Christ?

The Messiah of the Jewish people will have His name among other things be the everlasting Father; and i don't think that the Jews were unaware of this. A mature Christian will know that 1 Timothy 4:16 is in the word and therefore in knowing their word they would agree with me. A new believer...
