Has Jesus come in the spirit?

I discovered in the word recently that the adoption is the redemption of the body (Romans 8:23); and that the adoption had happened in past tense for the Galatian believers (Galatians 4:5-7). This would indicate that our body being fashioned like unto His glorious body does not necessarily mean...

Has Jesus come in the spirit?

You agree with @ScottA, @marks? If so, maybe there is something I'm missing in what he's saying. But it seems to me that he is failing the test of 1 John 4:1-3, 2 John 1:7. If he isn't, maybe you can tell me how, so I don't judge him.

Has Jesus come in the spirit?

I know that that applies to me.

Has Jesus come in the spirit?

Yes, I am also a sinner in need of the Saviour (probably three or more times as bad)...thankfully I have Him now.

Has Jesus come in the spirit?

We can certainly try that. Knocking someone to their senses doesn't have to be a continual process.

Has Jesus come in the spirit?

    Glory to God!

Has Jesus come in the spirit?

At the risk of the retort that I know might come, I say to you that those verses are talking about you.

Has Jesus come in the spirit?

I've been a sound minister for a lot of years; but I may have gotten truly saved this last Sunday. 1 Timothy 4:16.

Has Jesus come in the spirit?

However, you deny that Jesus is in the flesh; and therefore those scriptures show that your spirit is not of the Lord.

Has Jesus come in the spirit?

The conundrum, in the scripture in question, is, how is Jesus David's son if He is his Lord? The answer is, indeed, that He is his Lord in that He is God; and he is His son in that He was made of the seed of David according to the flesh. I have answered your question adequately; but you are in...

Has Jesus come in the spirit?

2Co 4:3, But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost: 2Co 4:4, In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them. 1Co 2:14, But the natural man receiveth...

Has Jesus come in the spirit?

Now, get ready to block: in the kjv: 1Jo 4:1, Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world. 1Jo 4:2, Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh...

Has Jesus come in the spirit?

I will answer, even though it has nothing to do with the question at hand. Jesus is God in His Deity; but He is made according to the seed of David according to the flesh. Romans 1:3 (kjv), Isaiah 45:11.
  14. J

Has Jesus come in the spirit?

    The kjv is against you.
  15. J

Has Jesus come in the spirit?

We don't even need to here rehash what it says in the kjv that refutes your position. It would be redundant to a certain extent.
  16. J

Has Jesus come in the spirit?

Do you confess that the kjv is the word of the Lord?
  17. J

Has Jesus come in the spirit?

Likewise, why should I answer you at all? Only because I care about those whom you might deceive. You have never said otherwise: but do you confess that the kjv is the word of the Lord? that is the question. Not, "do you not deny that the kjv is the word" but, "do you confess that it is?"...

Has Jesus come in the spirit?

They say, that if someone says that your sword isn't sharp, don't try to convince them of it...use it on them. So, I bring to your attention, whether you deny the veracity of the Lord's word or not... Rom 12:4, For as we have many members in one body, and all members have not the same office...
