    Trinity, A deeper look

It is a true and faithful claim. The doctrine of the Trinity states that the three persons are distinct, not separate.

    Trinity, A deeper look

It seems clear to me that since we all have one father (Malachi 2:10); that if you take a wild look at Hebrews 2:11-13 it just might be saying that Jesus is that one Father...? Mal 2:10, Have we not all one father? hath not one God created us? why do we deal treacherously every man against his...

    Trinity, A deeper look

If you are referring to the three men that appeared to Abraham, one of them was not the Holy Ghost; and neither was one of them the Father. One of them was a pre-incarnate appearance of Christ; and the other two were angels.

    Trinity, A deeper look

Your point? Not necessarily. And also, the fact that the term means even, would indicate that it is not necessarily a separate person from any person spoken of immediately before (though I will not argue that they are not distinct).

    Commentary on Romans.

Rom 5:15, But not as the offence, so also is the free gift. For if through the offence of one many be dead, much more the grace of God, and the gift by grace, which is by one man, Jesus Christ, hath abounded unto many. Rom 5:16, And not as it was by one that sinned, so is the gift: for the...

    Trinity, A deeper look

My friend, I am not confused in the slightest. I am planting the seeds of the truth so that when you finally see it in the word, you will know that what I am preaching is truth.

    Trinity, A deeper look

The Father is not the Son. However, the Spirit of the Son is the Father; and the Holy Ghost is in a sense the Father (while the Father is not the Holy Ghost). He receives a different title and begins to exist side-by-side with the Father in eternity after Jesus releases His Spirit (who is the...

    Trinity, A deeper look

You wrote: To which I responded: Therefore, I was clearly referring to Matthew 28:19 and not to anything you might have been saying about the Old Testament.

    Trinity, A deeper look

1Co 8:1, Now as touching things offered unto idols, we know that we all have knowledge. Knowledge puffeth up, but charity edifieth. 1Co 8:2, And if any man think that he knoweth any thing, he knoweth nothing yet as he ought to know. 1Co 8:3, But if any man love God, the same is known of him.

    Trinity, A deeper look

The Bible is not God (for God is a Person). Rather, it is the perfect revelation of who the Lord is.

What to do when you are beyond repentance?

Your position in Christ is secure; because you place your only hope in the Cross of Christ. But your relationship with Him is not in a good place because of your response to His Lordship over your behaviour. As long as you place your trust in what He did for you on the Cross, you are saved...

    Trinity, A deeper look

Just so you know, I am not opposed to the Trinity. What I am opposed to is the misunderstanding of it that amounts to Tritheism. Trinity vs. Tritheism: Understanding the Trinity.

    Trinity, A deeper look

I was referring to Matthew 28:19, when I said that and can be translated as even. This is in the New Testament. What did I edit? I was referring to Matthew 28:19; which was indeed written in Greek.

    The Way of Cain

The sum of all fears will be the result if no restoration occurs.

Two of them were angels. One of them was a Christophany. The Greek word for and is kai, which can be translated even.

    Convince me of Annihilationism

Personally, I believe that animals possess spirituality; and are capable of worshiping the Lord. neshamah (5397): nesh-aw-maw': from 5395;a puff, i.e. wind, angry or vital breath, divine inspiration, intellest (concr.) an animal: -- blast, (that) breathe(eth), inspiration, soul, spirit.
