    Parables

Eph 2:8, For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Eph 2:9, Not of works, lest any man should boast. I am of the opinion that the word of the Lord is timeless; and that therefore salvation will always be by grace through faith; and not of works.

    I saw this thought expressed...

That was understood from the getgo... So I would indicate that there is a difference between religion and relationship.

What is the difference between vengeance and justice?

I think that if we pray for the Lord to receive the perpetrators as sons, justice/vengeance will be meted out to them, and they will also be saved. WIN/WIN. Hebrews 12:6.

    I saw this thought expressed...

True Christianity cannot exist without a living relationship with the living Christ...

Trinity vs. Tritheism: Understanding the Trinity.

So, in this; what is the difference between being equal to God and being equal with God?

Trinity vs. Tritheism: Understanding the Trinity.

I have always considered that Jesus being the Son of God means that God was His Father; and that Jesus being the Son of man means that He was also born of humanity (through Mary).

Trinity vs. Tritheism: Understanding the Trinity.

    Not that I'm aware of.

Trinity vs. Tritheism: Understanding the Trinity.

It is true, for it is what the scripture says....but I'm not sure what you are getting at.

Trinity vs. Tritheism: Understanding the Trinity.

I'm interested in what you think the difference is between the two.

Trinity vs. Tritheism: Understanding the Trinity.

God cannot cease to be God, even when He empties Himself of the attributes of Deity.

Trinity vs. Tritheism: Understanding the Trinity.

If Jesus is the Holy Ghost, then it would be the unpardonable sin to speak against Him. However, it is written, that if anyone speaks a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him.

Trinity vs. Tritheism: Understanding the Trinity.

Jesus is a Man, composed of spirit (Father, Holy Ghost), soul, and body.

Trinity vs. Tritheism: Understanding the Trinity.

I think that you just need to think some more about what I have already said; asking the Holy Ghost to illuminate my words to your mind. 1Co 2:13, Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with...

Trinity vs. Tritheism: Understanding the Trinity.

Emptying Himself of the attributes of Deity does not mean that He stopped being God. And there are things in God that do indeed seem to contradict each other; for that there is paradox in God. Have you never read: Isa 55:8, For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my...

Trinity vs. Tritheism: Understanding the Trinity.

Hi @101G, I think that you may be able to get it in about just a second...so think with me for a minute. God is God the Father. One God, inhabiting eternity. Now, not 1/3 of God, but the one God, descended and took on human flesh, Eph 3:11, According to the eternal purpose which he purposed...

Trinity vs. Tritheism: Understanding the Trinity.

That is what I have been saying. Yes I see it clearly. The son that was given shall have his name be called, among other things, the everlasting Father. Nevertheless I see that God dwells in eternity and also descended to take on an added nature of human flesh. I believe that this added...

Jesus said, you will be hated by all men for My name's sake.

I really feel that Luke P. may have done a better job than some may think at representing Christ to the world. He was being jabbed at left and right by the other contestants the whole time that he was there; and the way he responded, impaho, was exemplary. I do believe that there will be those...

Jesus said, you will be hated by all men for My name's sake.

Amen... I have been praying for revival for some time, and have been attempting to affect the people in my own sphere of influence for the better. We may have differences of opinion over Calvinism and its tenets; but we can certainly come together to pray that the Holy Spirit might work in...

Jesus said, you will be hated by all men for My name's sake.

From my understanding Hannah B. was a brand-new believer at the end of the last show and as the new show was starting; and Luke decided to go on there to try to rescue her from the other guys to keep her from being unequally yoked. I believe that he also went on there to be a witness for Christ...

Jesus said, you will be hated by all men for My name's sake.

Revival has to do with the purifying of His bride; and will only come by prayer. We had an event in San Pedro recently at my church; we called it THE REVIVAL. And while about 7 people got saved, not much else happened after that. . . . Why don't those of us who care, begin to pray for revival...
