On it's face Willie T., the whole Ecumenical movement sounds very "Kum ba yah" like but, we would no longer be Christians as I do not believe all religions "serve" the same God...the God of Islam is not the same God we serve, Buddah, Kirshna and so on. Even if all were "Christians", I cannot...

Back in the early 1990's our Church held a long bible study on ecumenism...it has been very interesting seeing all of this come to culmination. But, very sad and scary to see some friends and loved ones seemingly happy to join in :/

We have a place called Wendells, they have great chicken! Free range, no hormones and just plain good...and yes, it is about a 45 minute-hour drive...but worth it...

Good post Naomi. You describe depression very well. I liken it to sitting in a slowly drying vat of cement up to your neck and you can't seem to make a move or a decision to save your life. And yes, try to get yourself into a prayer posture in that state...that's when I so completely rely on...

Also need to watch carbs. That is what I have largely cut out of my diet. Carbs and sugar. Bad carbs, that is! Took a year but, I have lost pretty much all the fat around my waste and since I have no hips, lol...none of my slacks fit me without a belt!!! Ahaha.
