Can a Christian have a demon?

A demon cannot co-habitate a body that is filled with the Holy Spirit, with subsequent bearing of fruit.

    Why the cross actually saves

“For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:” (Ephesians 2:8) The fact is that grace does include salvation. And therefore the fact that we have access by faith into grace means that we have access by faith into salvation.

    Why the cross actually saves

If that is the case, then we have access by grace into this faith wherein we stand. But that is not the order that is declared by the holy scriptures (esp. Romans 5:2).

Can a Christian have a demon?

If you are a believer, He that is in you is greater than he that is in the world (1 John 4:4). Therefore if you are bearing a fruit of the Spirit, you could not be possessed like the Gadarene demoniac.

    The dangerous thing about Calvinism...

...is that it attempts to take the moral high ground, i.e. "we are contending for the glory of God," and/or "salvation is not of you it is all of God"... ...in order to promote a doctrine of salvation that will lead many people to become complacent about their responsibility in the matter in...

    Why the cross actually saves

Saving faith is a work of the Holy Spirit. Supernatural and/or continued faith is a fruit of the Holy Spirit.

The God that mankind is rebelling against doesn't exist.

No; because He was High Priest according to the order of Melchizedek which was based on the power of an endless life rather than a carnal commandment. Jesus is Lord of the sabbath; and the sabbath was made for man and not man for the sabbath. With the change in priesthood came a change of the...

New blood covenant and new covenant to Israel and Judah

So there is more than one New Covenant?

    Why the cross actually saves

Saving faith is certainly not a thing of the flesh. However, if we offer up a fleshy faith, the Lord is certainly able to consecrate it by placing it on the altar, which is seven times sanctified by the blood so that whatever touches the altar is holy. Mar 9:23, Jesus said unto him, If thou...

    Why the cross actually saves

We enter into the new birth by placing our faith in Jesus Christ and what He did for us on the Cross. We have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand.

    Why the cross actually saves

It seems to me to be only logical. If they do not want to be in His presence for all of eternity when they are standing before Him, He is not going to force them to remain in His presence. He will cast them into outer darkness.

    Why the cross actually saves

Their judgment, when they stand before the Lord, will be based on their reaction to the Person and Presence of Jesus Christ.

    Why the cross actually saves

Without faith there can be no salvation.

    Why the cross actually saves

Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures, 1 Corinthians 15:1-4.

    Why the cross actually saves

Now you are putting words in my mouth. I believe that "faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God." Romans 10:17. It is what you are implying. In saying that grace comes first, you are saying that faith isn't necessary as a catalyst for entering into grace.

New blood covenant and new covenant to Israel and Judah

So, @CoreIssue, are you saying that the law is not written on the hearts and minds of Gentiles in the New Covenant? Also, it seems to me that both 1 Corinthians 11:23-26 and Hebrews 8:8-10 are both speaking of the same covenant, identified as the New Covenant.

New blood covenant and new covenant to Israel and Judah

I am gathering from @CoreIssue's posts that he believes that there will be a third covenant of law during the Millenial Kingdom. But I would say, that if a new covenant of law comes after the covenant of grace, that God would be saying by this that the covenant of grace was inferior: Heb 8:7...

New blood covenant and new covenant to Israel and Judah

In this third covenant that you speak of, you are saying that Gentiles are not included? Consider that there is a great multitude that no one can number all dressed in white who will be the converts of the 144,000 Jewish evangelists during the Great Tribulation. . . . . Those verses are...
