    Calvinism is a Cult

You have not answered my question. How is a man born again according to your theology if not through placing one's faith in Jesus Christ and what was done for us on the Cross? I am curious to know the answer. . . . Also, Ephesians 2:8-9 shows clearly that faith is not a work; since we are...

    Wet Paint Principle (Freedom)

The answer is yes...because we are not justified by obedience to the law...and therefore disobedience to the law is not necessarily going to condemn us. We are not under the law, are dead to the law, and are delivered from the law, concerning condemnation. Now if we are born again it will...

    Commentary on Romans.

In v.15, It bears repeating that the law worketh wrath; for where there is no law there is no transgression. In 1 John 3:4 it is clear that sin is the transgression of the law. So then, where no law is, we cannot sin. However it becomes clear later in Romans (5:13) that this is taking it too...

    Commentary on Romans.

Rom 4:9, Cometh this blessedness then upon the circumcision only, or upon the uncircumcision also? for we say that faith was reckoned to Abraham for righteousness. Rom 4:10, How was it then reckoned? when he was in circumcision, or in uncircumcision? Not in circumcision, but in uncircumcision...

Trinity vs. Tritheism: Understanding the Trinity.

I believe Jehovah's Witnesses are the ones inclined to give "pushback" concerning the concept that God died. I don't see it happening with Christians who understand sound doctrine. You are assuming that a 2nd God, or else 1/3 of God, became flesh and dwelt among us. That is not the case. It...

Trinity vs. Tritheism: Understanding the Trinity.

I will be the first one to raise my hand in the affirmative to that question.

    Calvinism is a Cult

Both Romans 5:2 and Ephesians 2:8-9 together show clearly that faith precedes grace in salvation. However, there is a certain factor involved that is preventing certain people from seeing this: 1Co 2:14, But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are...

Trinity vs. Tritheism: Understanding the Trinity.

But I guess that is the treatment that I am to receive for that God has given me a revelation that is not accepted yet by the visible church. For I am called to cast my pearls before the proverbial swine; in the hopes that someone will find those pearls in the mud (after they have been trampled...

Trinity vs. Tritheism: Understanding the Trinity.

Did you even look up the verses? If you did, you would see that my statements have a strong biblical basis.

    Calvinism is a Cult

I think that you are still failing to understand what the word through means. This is definitely a lack of reading comprehension on your part. I would venture to say, using your own tactics against you (since turnabout is fair play) that this verse is taken out of context.

Trinity vs. Tritheism: Understanding the Trinity.

In Luke 23:46, Jesus committed His Spirit into the hands of the Father, He gave up the Ghost. This Spirit is the Father, if you will see it with me in John 4:23-24 and John 14:7-11. So Jesus released the Father back into the presence of the Father, who inhabiteth eternity, in Luke 23:46. But...

Workers of the flesh will not inherit eternal life

1Pe 2:21, For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps: 1Pe 2:22, Who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth:

    Calvinism is a Cult

@Jun2u, Regardless of your arguments against it, Jesus said, Ye must be born again. How is a man born again if not through placing his faith in Jesus Christ and what was done for him on the Cross? (I am sincerely asking you this question; please answer this according to your theology)

    Calvinism is a Cult

Faith must precede grace according to Romans 5:2, and, if you will receive it, Ephesians 2:8-9. I know that you never claimed it, as that would be detrimental to your philosophy to admit that this is what it teaches. But it is definitely implied by your philosophy. Scripture?

Mocking the issue doesn't make it any less biblical.

Easter ? What are we celebrating?

The kjv has no errors. This whole thing started with the Mormons, who say that the Bible is true "only insofar as it is correctly translated". Clearly a lie from the pit of hell, in the implication that the Bible is not correctly translated and is therefore not to be trusted.

Easter ? What are we celebrating?

It's in the kjv...and therefore it is in the Bible...because the kjv is the Bible....oh, did I just prove it? I think that the fact that Easter is in the kjv indicates to me that the disciples celebrated the resurrection of Jesus early on. Because I hold that God in His sovereignty and...
