How to be shut out of the kingdom of heaven/God

Since I do not hold the Trinity (as opposed to Tritheism) to be false doctrine and do not consider the Trinity to be the essential but rather the essential is the Deity of Christ; therefore it is not in my best interests to argue the doctrine any further (since I believe in it for the most...

Trinity vs. Tritheism: Understanding the Trinity.

The problem with this is that scripture teaches us that there is one Spirit: Eph 4:4, There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling; But now I will say that I desire to believe that the Son is eternally begotten. Is there scripture to make that case? If...

Trinity vs. Tritheism: Understanding the Trinity.

So, you seem to be saying that Jesus is three Persons in His singular body...kind of like someone with a mental illness called triphenia...or, MPD.

I believe what I have posted in posts #1-#4 of this thread. shortcut: Trinity II I am not familiar enough with men's teachings on the Trinity to tell you whether I agree with them or disagree with them. I do know that certain Trinitarian creeds do not contradict my belief in the slightest.

Trinity vs. Tritheism: Understanding the Trinity.

No, that is not what I am saying. You have been trying to peg me as a modalist this whole time and it is simply not what I even believe. You need to pay closer attention to what people are saying before you respond. A tidbit of wisdom for you: Proverbs 18:13. It is true. Give thread name...

No, I didn't, I said that I identify myself as Oneness because of the fact that I have been baptized in Jesus' Name. There is a difference.

Trinity vs. Tritheism: Understanding the Trinity.

That is what I am saying...that God does not cease to exist outside of time when He descends to become the Son of God...see Ephesians 3:11 for more insight on this. God the Father inhabits eternity...and the nature of eternity is that if anyone dwells in it, they dwell in it eternally.

Trinity vs. Tritheism: Understanding the Trinity.

I think that what they are saying is that if you are really and truly born again, you will have obedience as the result of your living and saving faith in Jesus Christ. My understanding of Oneness is that they do not teach salvation by works...however they do teach that those who are truly...
