    Limited Atonement VS Universal Atonement

Nope. You are cherry-picking. ;) You are simply cherry-picking verses. ;) How secure is our position if we can lose it? Not very...

A unique view on the book of Revelation.

Read Revelation 2 and 3 for the answer to that.

A unique view on the book of Revelation.

It is a quote, I think, possibly from Winston Churchhill or some other great one of the past.

A unique view on the book of Revelation.

No, actually I am applying it only to Philadelphia; I am saying that it is only the overcomers in Philadelphia who will be caught up pre-trib.

    Limited Atonement VS Universal Atonement

Faith and belief are synonymous terms. And another one is trust...which is more of an issue of the heart...whereas faith and believing have to do with the mind primarily; but which can also be done with the heart.

    Limited Atonement VS Universal Atonement

Thank You Jesus; I don't have to lift a finger in order to save myself! Hebrews 4:10. Of course there is a labour of love that I exhibit for the sake of the salvation of others (1 Thessalonians 1:3).

    Limited Atonement VS Universal Atonement

You are taking those scriptures out of context. ;)

    Limited Atonement VS Universal Atonement

In Romans 4:3-6... 3 For what saith the scripture? Abraham believed God, and it was counted unto him for righteousness. 4 Now to him that worketh is the reward not reckoned of grace, but of debt. 5 But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is...

    Limited Atonement VS Universal Atonement

Those who truly call on the name of the Lord will do the will of the Father...2 Corinthians 5:17 (kjv), Ezekiel 36:25-27 (kjv). By all means, show us the verses that harmonize with the scriptures I have presented (Don't expect me to do all the work!); and also show us what new insight you have...

Are you a Luke Faithwalker? Or a Luke Sightwalker?

Thank you, I love you too...:)...may the Lord abundantly bless you...

    Limited Atonement VS Universal Atonement

No one comes to faith in the first place against their will...and once they believe, that assumes they believe in the existence of hell...reason enough for me to adhere to the faith of Jesus Christ with all my being...and if He also is keeping me through His own power (see 1 Peter 1:5), how can...

Are you a Luke Faithwalker? Or a Luke Sightwalker?

It is my sense of sight that enables me to read the word of the Lord; and it is my sense of hearing that enables me to hear the preacher preach.

    Limited Atonement VS Universal Atonement

No works + belief = faith, imputed as righteousness!

    Commentary on Romans.

Romans 2:12-16, 12 For as many as have sinned without law shall also perish without law: and as many as have sinned in the law shall be judged by the law: 13 (For not the hearers of the law are just before God, but the doers of the law shall be justified. 14 For when the Gentiles, which have...

    Limited Atonement VS Universal Atonement

Romans 4:5-6, But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness. Even as David also describeth the blessedness of the man, unto whom God imputeth righteousness without works,

    Limited Atonement VS Universal Atonement

We are not forgiven of our sins because of any works that we do in order to please God...we are forgiven through faith alone in what Jesus did for us on the Cross. This is apart from works (Romans 4:5-6). Works come about as the result of any true, living, faith...because we receive the love...

    Limited Atonement VS Universal Atonement

Both of the scriptures that you reference above are speaking of the fact that we are working together with God to evangelize the lost, as those who are already saved. They in no way indicate that we somehow do good works in order to save ourselves...

    Limited Atonement VS Universal Atonement

Yes, that was the final conclusion. Because Jesus' Father was God...who also had/has no sin.

    Limited Atonement VS Universal Atonement

Concerning Mary being sinless...the blood is passed down through the Father biologically to the Son...and the placentia keeps the blood of the mother from passing to the child (while it can pass from the child to the mother)...so it may be that Mary was sinless because she was a recipient of...
