I think the verses you quoted are very relevant. The setting is the final judgment, not salvation ... so any criticism of "justification by works" would be misplaced. Revelation 20 indicates two resurrections ... the first resurrection for believers, and the second resurrection for everyone...

I like the smaller house churches but with children and young adults in the family I found a larger congregation was important for socializing with Christian friends. For a time we had smaller Bible study groups midweek in houses, and services in the church on Sundays ... a good mix of both.
