    Sabbath

Hi Raeneske, And all I'm saying is that same faith enables me to keep the sabbath on a daily basis as it was intended and live by the law of liberty that Christ so wonderfully gives us. My heart is His temple and the Holy of Holies abides with me 24/7. There is nothing that one specific set...

Israel is the focus of the millennium

The problem is believing Ez. 40-46 are speaking of millennial timing when they're not. It's speaking of the reclamation of Jerusalem and rebuilding the second temple after the Babylonian captivity. Yes, Ez. 47-48 have millennial significance but's that's all.

    Sabbath

Really John, That's all you can up with? I don't keep the written law so that means I'm a thieving, lying, adulterous, murderer. When the law is written in your heart, maybe you'll understand that the goal of a christian is to imitate Him, not obey the law, so as I reflect the love of Christ to...

ALL TIMELINES NEED TO BE REVISED

Hi Vet, My comments were based on these words: "That's the same "new song" they will sing per Rev.14:3 and the "song of Moses" and "the song of the Lamb" per Rev.15:3." and your presumption that they are the same timing. Rev. 5:9-10 is sung by the 24 elders just prior to the opening of the...

ALL TIMELINES NEED TO BE REVISED

Hi Vet, Your words: "Rev 5:8-10 8 And when he had taken the book, the four beasts and four and twenty elders fell down before the Lamb, having every one of them harps, and golden vials full of odours, which are the prayers of saints. 9 And they sung a new song, saying, "Thou art worthy to take...

Two In The Field One Is Taken One Is Left

Hi Vet, Your words: "The dimensions of Ezekiel's temple reveal that it has NEVER to this day been built," In Ez. 40-46, the dimensions are really a lot smaller than I believe any millennial temple will be and in no manner of interpretation could it equal the NJ.

Two In The Field One Is Taken One Is Left

Hi Vet, actually, I've been shown that Zech. 14 is post-mill. Rev. 20:8-9 timing. There is zero reason for the church to brought to Jerusalem. That's the home of Israel while we, the church, abide in heaven.

Two In The Field One Is Taken One Is Left

Just a few quotes to show that the belief of a rapture pre-dated Darby by well over a thousand years. (words in parenthesis mine) Tertullian - " Now the privilege of this favor (to be raptured) awaits those who shall at the coming of the Lord be found in the flesh (those who are alive) and who...

Two In The Field One Is Taken One Is Left

Well, I've got to disagree with you guys as I do see it as a picture of the rapture. Here's why. Remember the context, we'll use the Matt. version. Matt. 24:31 - "And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one...

    Sabbath

Raeneske, I don't know what else to say. If you won't believe the words of Peter, Paul and Christ, then you're surely not going to listen to me.

    Sabbath

Raeneske, Your words: "The Sabbath was not the "Law of Moses". All the scriptures you have presented point to the "Law of Moses." Nice try but it won't fly. The "law of Moses" is the complete pentateuch (sp?) aka Torah, including the ten commandments. God may have put them on tablets of stone...

    Sabbath

This was settled long ago at the Jerusalem council. Acts 15:5 - "But there rose up certain of the sect of the Pharisees which believed, saying, That it was needful to circumcise them, and to command them to keep the law of Moses." Peter's reply, Acts 15:8-11 - "And God, which knoweth the...

Nope, just the parts about the law. They were for the Jews.

Two In The Field One Is Taken One Is Left

Hi Vet, I've got to say this and trying to remain positive at the same time. Your millennial views are quite unique but I would suggest several more hours or days of study may be needed. You might want to start with this. Ez. 40-46 has zero to do with a "millennial" temple. Ezekial was a prophet...

    Sabbath

John and Raeneske, Well, there's nothing more to say, you've heard it all. If you can't comprehend the difference between the old and new covenant, then I wish you luck, you'll need it. John, One more thing, Your words: "John 5:37 And the Father himself, which hath sent me, hath borne witness...

    Sabbath

John, Bringing up the fact that Christ lived, died and taught the law is just reliving history. He had to live by the law to fulfill the law, so we won't have to be burdened by it. Your 1 John 5:2 ref. is not speaking of the ten but the two of Matt. 22. If you want to understand how to live...

The Keys of the Kingdom of Heaven

Well, I guess I'll add my three cents. Imo, the "keys" were given to Peter as a representative of the church, so they were not given to him and only him and this is backed up by Matt. 18:18 - "Verily I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever ye...

    Sabbath

Hi Raeneske, The confusion lies in still believing there are ten commandments. They are gone and we are left with two. Your words: "Doesn't Jesus say if ye love me, keep my commandments, John 14:15?" Yes, He does but His commandments are separate from God's commandments. They are not the ten...

    Sabbath

Hi Raeneske, Your understanding of James 2 is way different than mine. The first thing you have to realize is that lawkeepingis NOT "works". In verse 21, what was Abraham's "works"? Was it the willingness to sacrifice Isaac? No!, It was the FAITH that God would provide a substitute. His...

    America is Babylon

Kaotic, Your words: “How can this be America? Isa 13:19 And Babylon, the glory of kingdoms, the beauty of the Chaldees' excellency, shall be as when God overthrew Sodom and Gomorrah. Isa 13:20 It shall never be inhabited, neither shall it be dwelt in from generation to generation: neither shall...
