Reviving Biblical Christianity (The Way) Part 2

You believe? What do you mean by unbelieving? Why does Jesus say that He will no longer find faith on the earth? Do you mean the kind that moves mountains? Or just religious propositions invented by men? The household of God gets judged first. If you don't think you are called into God's...

Reviving Biblical Christianity (The Way) Part 2

Poor you. This faux outrage belies the fact that actual righteous people don't claim to be righteous. You are the one (or ones) trying to be saved by imputing a righteousness onto yourselves that is equal to God's...IN YOUR SINS. Thank you for making my point. Exactly Jesus saves those HE...

Reviving Biblical Christianity (The Way) Part 2

God sorts out those who offend the truth from His kingdom. It's right there in the parables...especially Matt. 13.

Reviving Biblical Christianity (The Way) Part 2

It amazes me that people will reject the very thing that can save them. In the world it is about knowing Jesus as a Saviour. But in the church it is about saving the soul and the knowledge of God's ways to that end. "My people perish for lack of knowledge." I could share a lot more about that...

Reviving Biblical Christianity (The Way) Part 2

Only a pre-conditioned reasoning based on indoctrination can miss the meaning of the verse. So you fail the 5 year old reading skills test.

Reviving Biblical Christianity (The Way) Part 2

Actually Abraham's bosom is a term meaning the nations of them that are saved. Abraham is the father of many nations...and the meek inherit the earth. It is comparative imagery that shows us that it is better to be poor and suffer than be rich and spoiled. Jesus often speaks of us hating our...

Reviving Biblical Christianity (The Way) Part 2

Actually I teach both sides of the coin. I urge my fellow believers to seek humility and maintain the fear of the Lord...to learn righteousness. Of course I also urge people to seek God for translation into the kingdom realm and Christ's perfection. Jesus did say that many will try to enter in...

Reviving Biblical Christianity (The Way) Part 2

To me this is obvious. The man was allowed in as a guest and he presumed to take a higher place than he ought to have. Jesus warns us to take the lower place when we enter a room. IF the master of the house bids you come up higher than you receive honour. But if he tells you to go down then...

    Phariseeism in the Modern Church

Amen and welcome to the thread. I think more people realize nowadays that Jesus is a loving and forgiving Person. But they don't get when and how He is such. And the more one preaches holiness, the more people react in a more liberal way. God is merciful but He is also hard on those who claim...

I checked your math and all seems in order. Now all you have to do is apply that same logical skill to reading words in the bible. So it takes both math skills AND reading skills. Good luck.

    Phariseeism in the Modern Church

You are officially NOT confused. You got it!

    Phariseeism in the Modern Church

We tend to confuse faith with beliefs. We can believe that Jesus atoned for sins...but salvation from sin is not about naming and claiming atonement based on beliefs. faith moves mountains. Beliefs make theories about mountains.
  15. Episkopos

    Phariseeism in the Modern Church

Grace is about holiness and glory. Failing grace means we don't walk in victory over sin. But God's mercy extends beyond holiness. He justifies the ungodly....based on what they DO.
  16. Episkopos

    Phariseeism in the Modern Church

Again we are not saved by accepting a belief in Jesus' atonement. Jesus doesn't need our approval to be a saviour.
  17. Episkopos

    Phariseeism in the Modern Church

God's justifies the ungodly not because of their lack of beliefs but because of what they DO. Another aspect of acceptance with God is to be God-fearing. So they might not see Jesus as a saviour yet, and might not understand His ministry. But God is merciful toward the righteous. We are not...

Reviving Biblical Christianity (The Way) Part 2

EXACTLY! You are among the first to acknowledge what a 5 year old would see. Ok, let's see if you can track what say a 10 year old would see. The conclusion comes straight from the bible. Let me walk you through it. I owe you that much because you pass the 5 year old test. Then saith he...

Reviving Biblical Christianity (The Way) Part 2

Again, most modern believers have been indoctrinated so badly that they can't tell the difference between the Bride and guests. My guess is that these have never attended a wedding...or if they had, they maybe thought that every guest was getting married as the bride. The bible is very clear...

Reviving Biblical Christianity (The Way) Part 2

Exactly. Whatever is of Christ is miraculous in nature. You are confusing Jesus with a morality preacher. The law was given through Moses but Jesus Christ quickens us into His miraculous grace over sin. That is the gospel. If it doesn't overcome sin, the flesh and the devil, it is NOT the...
