    Evidence for the Genesis Flood

Grailhunter noted: "hydrogen." 1. Where did the hydrogen come from? 2. How did it coalesce (gases disperse, they do not coalesce). 3. How did it then ignite, thousands and thousands of times? 4. "Gravitational effect of stars" assumes their pre-existence. 5. Have you found the Holy Grail yet?

When Might Satan With His Angels Come to This Earth For the Tribulation?

The Bible says, "How you have fallen from heaven, Morning Star..." (Isaiah 14:12, "Morning Star" = Hebrew הילל) . "Morning star" presumably refers to the planet Venus, beautifully bright over the eastern horizon in the morning. The ancients thought the 9 planets were stars, hence the Bible...

    Evidence for the Genesis Flood

We might also ask where space itself came from. Space is not nothingness, rather space is teeming with energy. And what is the explanation for the existence of myriad burning stars and space itself. We consider "science" but I see no scientific explanation at all. "The heavens declare the...

    Evidence for the Genesis Flood

The Bible describes the breakup in Genesis 7:11. I, and it was not 200 million years ago. Grailhunter noted: <just too, silly> o Out-of-hand rejection is a logical fallacy ("begging the question"). o How is it that countless stars in the sky are burning? o Where did the hydrogen in the sun...

    Evidence for the Genesis Flood

Trail hunter noted: <Well it did.> That is the atheist apologetic: "It just did!" Not very scientific.

    Evidence for the Genesis Flood

The Bible says the earth is round ("circle," Isaiah 40:22, Job 26:10, Proverbs 8:27, Psalm 104:5, Acts 17:26). The ancients knew the earth is curved, since ships would disappear over the horizon. I doubt if they knew the earth is a globe. In fact there are some among us who still do not believe...

    Evidence for the Genesis Flood

My point is that we don't *know* that, it is a *hypothesis.* The breakup is obvious, that is where the concept of Pangaea came from.

    Evidence for the Genesis Flood

The Bible indicates about 6000 year-old earth.

    Evidence for the Genesis Flood

Then how are the stars still shining? They are burning hydrogen, and I do not think the supply would last 200 million years.

And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come.

IMO there are two future comings of Jesus. o One is Jesus taking up believers from the area of the coming battle (Revelation 14:14-16). o. The other is Jesus leading his angels down to battle at the plain of Megiddo (Revelation 19:11-21).

And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come.

The Hebrew name for God is יהוה. Hebrew reads right to left, but English reads left to right, so in English we would write this as Yahweh. This name is thought to connote eternal self-existence.

    Evidence for the Genesis Flood

The Bible indicates that this entire universe is about 6000 years old. The idea behind "millions" of years is that "anything is possible given enough time." But time is not the issue, rather the issue is that natural forces do not create order, they degrade order.

    Evidence for the Genesis Flood

If you are interested, go to Google, search "pangaea." It is a well-known theory.

The Date of the Lord delivering Israel.

That was the first coming of Jesus, during which John the Baptist had spread the message. Jesus is coming again, as he promised, see Malachi chapter 4 and John 14:3. If Jesus had taken his throne the first time we might all be toast, because "all have sinned and come short of the glory of God"...

The Date of the Lord delivering Israel.

"Earth" in Genesis 12:3 is Hebrew האדמה = "the land." There was no concept of planet earth in Biblical times.

The Date of the Lord delivering Israel.

IMO: o. "The Lord will come suddenly to his temple" (Malachi 3:1). o. No temple, no return of Jesus.
