Let's examine Revelation 20:4 yet again.

The *concept* of a round earth wss proposed by Pythagoras and supported by Aristotle and Eratosthenes. IMO that is not a *discovery.*

    Four horseman in Revelation

The Catholic Church was holding the Middle East together for many years. The Pope had an army. Eventually some Catholics got upset that the Pope was calling himself the Vicar of Christ (God tells the Pope, the Pope relays the message). These Catholics protested, forming "Protestant"...

    Four horseman in Revelation

IMO: "Anointed Ruler" (Daniel 9:25) = Jesus (Isaiah 61:1). "Little horn" (Daniel 7:8) = Antichrist

    Four horseman in Revelation

I would say Revelation 6:1-14 indicates war: o White horse = a leader focused on *conquest* o Red horse/sword = *blood shed* in wartime o Black horse/denarius = *poverty* due to war (denarius=one day's pay) o Pale (Greek χλωρος) horse = color of *death* due to war. I want to emphasize this is...

    Four horseman in Revelation

IMO: In Revelation 6:1-7: o Trumpet = Call to order o Scroll = Reading of accusations against sinful race o Bowl = hot oil applied (common means of torture) "Four horses" (Revelation 6:2-7 represent ravages of war. Today we use tanks instead of horses.

When Might Satan With His Angels Come to This Earth For the Tribulation?

IMO: o "Fall asleep" is a euphemism for "die." o Believers go to the Presence of God in heaven (2Corinthians 5:8). o Earthly body is replaced by heavenly body (1Corinthians 15:51-58). o "True temple" is the temple in heaven (Psalm 11:4)

    Four horseman in Revelation

IMO: The four horsemen are part of a figurative rendition of end-times in the Middle East, which will involve war. o The white horse denotes war. o. The red horse denotes escalated war. o The black horse denotes famine resulting from war. o. The pale horse denotes pestilence due to ravages of...

    Four horseman in Revelation

IMO "four horsemen" (Revelation 6:1-8) is figurative/apocalyptic language . o White horse = war in Middle East o Red horse = more war in Middle East o. Black horse = famine caused by all this war o Pale horse = death due to war, starvation, pestilence

When Might Satan With His Angels Come to This Earth For the Tribulation?

IMO: o First heaven = atmosphere, where people abide. o Second heaven = space, where stars abide. o Third heaven = abode of angels, another dimension. Note that angels cheered when our universe was being created, Job 38:7. So at that time they were not part of our universe.

When Might Satan With His Angels Come to This Earth For the Tribulation?

Satan and his angels are already here, for many years now (1Peter 5:8). Not to worry, God's angels are here too, and they protect us (Matthew 18:10). Angels are incredibly powerful. In 2Kings 19:35 a single angel slaughters 185,000 people overnight.

When Might Satan With His Angels Come to This Earth For the Tribulation?

Zechariah 1:20 חרשים ארבעה = "four craftsmen." Sometimes craftsmen are assigned to replace a dilapidated building by demolishing it and rebuilding. If "people of the world" comprise the "house" to be torn down, then that destruction does not bode well for us. See Exodus 32:11-35. God will...

When Might Satan With His Angels Come to This Earth For the Tribulation?

Jesus will rule the earth from Jerusalem for 1000 years (Revelation 20:4). Davy noted: "spirit." The Oxford English Dictionary ("spirit") says "the animating or vital principle in man and animals which gives life to the organism." The Bible speaks of body, soul, spirit (1Thessalonians 5:23)...

When Might Satan With His Angels Come to This Earth For the Tribulation?

The Bible says: "The Lord will come suddenly to his temple" (Malachi 3:1). No rebuilt temple, no return.

Let's examine Revelation 20:4 yet again.

Yes γη can mean both "plant earth" or "land" in modern times--not in Biblical times.

Let's examine Revelation 20:4 yet again.

There was no concept of planet earth, that is common knowledge. If you disagree then I would would be interested to see a reference other than yourself. "Far away" does not equate to "round."

Let's examine Revelation 20:4 yet again.

Once again: there was no general concept of planet earth in Biblical times. one webpage says Pythagoras of Samos thought the earth must be round

Let's examine Revelation 20:4 yet again.

I invite you to state your case. BTW "earth" in the New Testament is typically Greek γη = land. "Earth" in the old Testament is typically Hebrew ארץ = land. There was no concept of planet earth in Biblical times.

When Might Satan With His Angels Come to This Earth For the Tribulation?

Aunty Jane noted: >No such thing as immortal soul> "Soul" = "Animate existence" (Oxford English Dictionary). By contrast, a rock is inanimate. "Immortal" = "Not mortal." "Mortal" stems from Latin mors = "death." Zechariah 1:20-21, חרשים (carpenters / craftsmen). Craftsmen often first tear...
