    The social gospel?

1st cut believers are saved from the world and condemnation with the world. But these are not saved from the power of the flesh. That requires going to the cross as Paul says...It is no longer I... Maybe you hate the doctrine of Paul? Accuser of the brethren....for a VERY long time. Let's see...

    The social gospel?

This is @Behold response to my post Episkopos said: PS: The devil hates that word "liberation" from sin. (Look up to his response in the talk box above) You just defended yourself as the devil. A slip-up? a...

    The social gospel?

I assume all here are first cut believers. But few will have believed INTO Christ...to be where He is and walk in full sanctification. In Him is no sin. Is it wrong to desire your sanctification? Didn't Paul also desire that very thing to those whom he taught? I never allow myself to estimate...

    The social gospel?

That's not what Paul said. Again, as per usual you misunderstand the words of Paul. Where sin is great (increased) the grace that overcomes it is greater (increased more). This means that we overcome sin by grace through faith. Same message as elsewhere. A rare admission on your part.

    The social gospel?

False mischaracterization of God that smokescreens the true gospel. Don't allow your self-interest, self-preservation, self-defense mechanisms of the flesh overturn a decision from the inner man of faith to break free from the bondage of the flesh and the grasp of the devil into the waiting arms...

    The social gospel?

Not in this case. Peter is showing the culpability of the mob that shouted...crucify Him. For these people they must repent and believe in Jesus or perish. They indeed have Jesus' blood on their hands. If they were already forgiven as you suggest, then they would not have to repent. Notice that...

    The social gospel?

Without the blood there is no cleansing, liberation, freedom, from sin. Since you have no idea what that entails...having never experienced any cleansing...you have diverted the cross to your needs...namely that you realize you are under sin unless your beliefs get you off the hook. So the devil...

    The social gospel?

Him, being delivered by the determinate will and foreknowledge of God, you have taken and by wicked hands have crucified and slain. Acts 2:23 God knew what men would do. But it was evil men who put Jesus on the cross. I am the mirror you are seeing yourself in. I leave it to others to decide...

    The social gospel?

To attach forgiveness to atonement means you don't think that God is forgiving by nature. We are told that we are to forgive 70 x 7. Does God expect us to be more forgiving than He is. Do we have people saying that the mercies of mankind are eternal? Really? I think people underestimate how...

    The social gospel?

God sent Jesus into the world knowing He would die at the hands of sinful men. God was in Christ. God did NOT put Jesus to death. We did that. Your god is evil. Your god is selfish and rewards selfishness and self-interest. False. God is sacrificial and self-less. Those who want to exploit...

    The social gospel?

Do you hate your children? Even when they do bad things? God is love...and His mercy endures forever. But He will not put up with willful sins...or sins that deviate others from the truth. Whoever causes a meek one to sin will receive great wrath so that it would be better if that person had...

    The social gospel?

That's not even in the mis-translations. You have God doing evil. But God was IN CHRIST reconciling the world to Himself. To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation. 2 Cor...

    The social gospel?

Israel is God's people. When a person sinned against another person there was a restitution...an eye for an eye basically. But towards a holy God there was a life for a life. The life is in the blood. Without blood there is no cleansing...atonement. This should not be confused with forgiveness...

    The social gospel?

God loved His creation. And instead of leaving us powerless under sin, and needing to be forgiven forever...over and over and over. He decided to send His Son to EMPOWER at least some of us to walk in the same holy perfection as His Son. (Those who love God would give up their own selfish...

    The social gospel?

Hey... :) You can thank God every day for His forgiveness...because God is merciful. It's His nature to give and give and give, without expecting in return. God is a selfless Giver that's why He loves a cheerful giver. :) When it comes to the cross and those who are looking to continue in...

    The social gospel?

As I have stated so many times...those who are not in the higher walk of victory over sin and are serious in their seeking of God for His life...are in a transition phase (Wilderness) whereby we rely on God's forgiveness and mercy...as God has always had for those who seek Him. God is merciful...

    The social gospel?

A carnal understanding of freedom from the law is that one can break the law without consequence...basically an amnesty to commit crimes without penalty. That evil is spread with the modern gospel. A spiritual understanding of freedom from the law is receiving a power that is greater than what...

    The social gospel?

I behave like a fool to get people to think. I have tried so many approaches. And the hardness of people's hearts is such that I have to almost caricature the truth to debunk their own caricature of who they think God is...and what He is like. That means you are a truth seeker. :) Exactly...

Thank you Wynona. I put so much effort into providing that kind of encouragement it's an encouragement for me to hear that others are encouraged. :) Be blessed! <><

    Hearing God's Voice

Does God still speak to His people? We have the Bible as a map, but what are we using for a compass? We are guided and empowered into life by the Spirit. So we have both a map and a compass. God still speaks to us, but are we listening?
