Should a politician or anybody display themselves as Christ

I look forward to all the Leftists upset that this guy compares himself to Christ. ‘Dangerous’: Leftist Muslim Senate candidate El-Sayed compares himself to … JESUS! * WorldNetDaily * by Bob Unruh

    When Doctrine Corrects Christ

Never explicit says it. it’s called an inference.

After your born again do you think you will never sin again?

It is horrendous, like advocating TO DO the opposite of what God wills AND still be acceptable to God. It is amazing. Debauchery. Glorification. Not the same. I always go back to the 2 trees in the Garden. Following God, the tree of Life and the other tree; believing AND acting per God’s...

How Confidant Are You Being Saved?

Resolving. Ignoring contradictions. Not the same thing. No, you ignored her question. Whatever you need to do to assuage your conscience.

How Confidant Are You Being Saved?

@Eternally Grateful, why can't you answer the question posed to you in Post #778? Really? She posts many verses supporting her position, which you summarily ignore and only present a scant few other verses for discussion. Pathetic! No false accusation. You aren't answering her question but...

After your born again do you think you will never sin again?

Great testimony of heaviness leaving your body, etc. I think the OSAS denies our capacity to keep sinning IF we so choose. My experience is it is not intellectual but emotionally tempting in the heat of the moment. The dichotomy of intentional v unintentional sin probably deserves its own...

After your born again do you think you will never sin again?

He's not too fond of me, not because of my sex but because I, like you, reject OSAS without apology.

    When Doctrine Corrects Christ

There is no contextual problem. Luke 9 is NOT talking about end times. The OP is.

    When Doctrine Corrects Christ

This too is my observation of @ScottA. So much so that I put him on ignore. No sense banging my head against the wall.

    When Doctrine Corrects Christ

Regarding seeing the kingdom of God - not the signs referred to in the OP.

    When Doctrine Corrects Christ

A little too confident in your interpretation, it seems to me. I was always taught "this generation" does not refer to the generation listening to Jesus but the generation to witness "all these things."

Should a politician or anybody display themselves as Christ

I’d thing this is the highest achievement of us all; we all want to display ourselves as Christ. Right?

@Behold isn’t going to like that assessment.

How Confidant Are You Being Saved?

    THE question he’ll never answer.

After your born again do you think you will never sin again?

Explain how you can be raped by someone you once consented to have sex with? How does that work? Why isn’t it, once you consent, you always consent?

    OSAS origins and comparison

That you resort to personal attacks prove you once again lost the argument. The OSAS part in red is rejected by “religious idiots” and doctor’s of the church alike. And the OSAS idea is rejected no matter how you word it … I once was in a building that I left.

How Confidant Are You Being Saved?

Sad that after 770 posts, you reset the talking point to the beginning. If your uncle gave you a billion dollars, you‘d have to do some work on your part to benefit from it EVEN THOUGH you didn’t earn the money, right?

After your born again do you think you will never sin again?

Not all of us are polished, deep thinking theologians and don’t need to be to still make a valid point - even if delivered without social grace and polite introduction. We could all be more grace-filled even at the expense of efficient response to online error.

    Prayer Request

From the sleep foundation: For most people, hypnopompic hallucinations are considered normal and are not cause for concern. They generally don’t indicate an underlying mental or physical illness, though they may be more common in people with certain sleep disorders. Hope all is well and will...
